I was clutching my stomach laughing. It was lunch, and I was the only person sitting with Luke. I could feel everyone was staring, but I don't really care.

I asked Luke tons of questions, and he avoided answering all of them, but somehow he still made me laugh.

"Where are you from?" I asked for probably the 4th time.

He shrugs. "Why do you want to know?"

"Well you're so mysterious. And I'm sitting with person I barely know and I they could very well be an alcoholic who just got out of rehab. Or you could be as alien from Saturn."

He laughs, "I've always been in this city. I like All Time Low and the smell of new cars. I'm in a band. That's all you need to know for now, Dal."

He smiles and gets up just as the bell rings, leaving me totally confused and stupefied.

. . . . .

It's been 10 weeks since we began school. I've been spending a lot of time with Luke.

He still hasn't opened up to me as much as I like, but it's a process.

"That should be 13 over 73," he corrects, laughing softly. We were studying at my house like we do every Friday.

"I told you math isn't my thing," I say, laughing with him.

He takes the pencil from my hand and outs it down in the place where the pages meet.

"Lets do something tonight."

"Okay, what do you have in mind?"

"Uhh..." he puts his fingers to his chin as if he's concentrating deeply. "How about a movie?"

I smile and run to get the popcorn.

. . . . .

We ended up watching The Conjuring.
I like horror movies, but I always get embarrassingly scared.

Luke had his arm around me so I could burry my face into his chest when a really scary part came on.

I had turned towards him so could do so. I was looking up at him, admiring his features. He was perfect, breathtaking.

I never really though about how beautiful he really was.

"Are you even going to watch the movie?" he teases me.

He looks down at me, directly into my eyes.

"Sorry," I laugh.

"Dal, I need to tell you something."

"Okay, shoot."

"I think I... I'm starting to.. Uh. I..."
he stutters.

I smile, and begin to speak, when his lips are on mine.

It felt so right.

He kisses me slowly at first, his lips soft and perfect.

The kisses got deeper and heated, each one lighting a fire in me every time.

Our tongues were dancing, our lips fitting to together perfectly. I reach to pull of his shirt.

His shirt comes off, and then I grab his hand to pull of mine.

He breaks way, leaving me feeling chilled.

"Slow down. I want to, but I can't take advantage of you like that, Dal."

I just look at him. Then, "I want it, too. I'm not sure why, but it just feels right. I--"

I don't finish, because his lips crash into mine again, warming me all over again.

"You don't know how long and how much I've wanted to do this."

I smile into the kiss. Why did this feel so right, like we were meant to be together, our bodies fitting together perfectly, our hearts beating together at the same pace, when I haven't even known him very long?
