"It's okay. I'll find my hyungs," he said and walked away. What's with the sudden change of attitude? Feeling weird inside, I decided to call Jina.
"Hello?" she answered.
"Jina, where are you?"
"I'm at your brother's locker. Wae?"
"Meet at our normal hang out place. See you there" I answered short. I actually feel really offended right now. Why was he behaving that way? I treated him kindly and this is how he repays me? I grabbed my recess and paused. He needs his stuff for the next lesson or he will get in trouble on his first day. Also, he doesn't know my locker code. I decided to take his stuff as well and walked towards our usual hangout place. Great, Jina brought my brother and his friends along. Just as I expected. I walked up to Jungkook and gave him his books.
"Since you didn't want to go to my locker and you'll get in trouble if you don't have your books, here you go," I said.
"Thanks. Can I remove my bag from your locker?" he asked me.
"Where will you put your stuff if you remove them from my locker?"
"In someone else's"
"And that someone is?" I asked, getting irritated.
"Jessica" he replied. Okay, now I regret for getting his books for him. Even though I was super pissed, I tried acting normal.
"Are you alright? You seemed a bit pissed off..." Jina asked me. There go my acting skills.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Can I talk to you for a moment?" I asked her and pulled her aside. Since my brother and his friends are around, talking in Korean isn't an advantage anymore.
"What happened Naeun?" she asked me with a concerned look. So I told her everything.
"Does he....perhaps....have a crush on Jessica?" she asked me.
"No way. Who the hell would like her?"
"Naeun, you know that she dated half the guys in our class in just one year. She probably has her eyes on Jungkook now" Jina replied.
"I don't care if she has her eyes on Jungkook or if Jungkook has his eyes on her. I just want him to treat me normally instead of cold!" I yelled in frustration.
"Calm down. Okay, talk to your brother and I'm sure that he will tell Jungkook to treat you normally" she suggested.
"Fine. Let's hope that it works." We walked back where the others were waiting for us.
"Finally. We were thinking of eating without you" Taehyung said.
"Sorry. By the way Oppa, can I talk to you after we eat?" I asked him.
"Sure" he replied, showing his dimples.
