(Naeun's POV)
"W-W-WHAT!? T-THE DOOR'S O-OPEN!?" I yelled and rushed to the door. The door was indeed open. I rushed inside with Jungkook at my heels, only to see Josephine on the couch. Oops, I forgot that she was coming back today.
"NAEUN!!!!!" she yelled and hugged me.
"Hey, Jo. I missed you too. Can you please stop suffocating me?" I asked and she let go of me.
"Who's this? Did you get yourself a boyfriend without telling me? Is he Korean? Does he live here? Where did you meet him? When did you start dating?" she bombarded me with questions.
"Woah hold your horses. He's not my boyfriend, he's my brother's friend. By the way, my brother came here with his six friends and-"
"WHAT YOUR BROTHER CAME HERE?" she yelled.
"Yes and he is living next door so-"
"AND HE'S LIVING NEXT DOOR!?"
"Yes and he is going to our school so-"
"HE'S GOING TO OUR SCHOOL!?"
"Yes and is there an echo in here because I keep hearing whatever I just said but the volume maximized by 10 times?" I asked.
"Haha sorry. Is Jina going to be here more often? Doesn't she have a crush on your brother?" she asked.
"Jina has a crush on hyung?" Jungkook piped in. Damn it...Jina's going to murder us. We forgot that he was still here.
"Jungkook, PLEASE don't tell anyone otherwise Jina will murder us" I begged him.
"Of course I won't tell anyone" he replied with his signature bunny smile. That smile is just....
"By the way, Jo, this is Jungkook, my brother's friend. Jungkook, this is my best friend, Josephine, who we all call Jo coz her name's waaaaay too long" I said with a smirk at Jo.
"Better than a name who everyone pronounces wrong" she shot back. Damn it.
"Yah who will I joke around with if both you and Jina retort back?" I asked her.
"Joke around with Jungkook all you want. You're always going to be there for Naeun, aren't tcha?" she asked and put her arm on Jungkook's shoulder.
"Yeah, I'll be there for her" Jungkook replied and removed Jo's hand from his shoulder. It feels like this room is too hot. Did I leave the heater on this morning?
"Oh yeah I almost forgot!" Jo exclaimed and ran upstairs.
"Don't mind Jo. She's kinda...jumpy and extroverted. You'll get the hang of it soon" I told Jungkook.
"It doesn't seem like it's going to be soon" he replied.
"You can put your bag down anywhere. Do you want ice cream?" I asked him and his face lit up.
"Yeah sure" he replied and I pulled the ice cream tub out of the freezer.
"Do you like chocolate sauce on ice cream?" I asked and he nodded, so I started making fresh chocolate sauce.
"You don't have to make some. We can just go without it" he said.
"Nah, it's okay. I like it when there's chocolate sauce as well" I replied and tried to break the chocolate into pieces. First try. Second try. Third try. There wasn't a single crack in it.
"I'll break it" he offered but I shook my head. After a few more tries, my hands were sore, but I wasn't giving up. Suddenly, Jungkook walked close towards me, placed his hands on my hands and broke the chocolate.
