~A.J P.O.V~ Present Day 10th Grade
I walked in the summer heat on my way to meet my Vampire.
AKA my Boyfriend, Zach.
I snapped out of my thoughts when my cell phone started ringing.
I flipped it open to find out it was my best friend. Maylene. I think it sounds like some chinease dish food name. Well, she is half Asain and half white.
I clicked the talk button and I yelled "HEY HOW'S MY FAVORITE CHINEASE FRIEND DISH!!!???"
"WEEELLLL AT LEAST I'M NOT GOTH!" she yelled right back
I brought my voice down because I was getting wierd glances from people that were running.
"Hey your goth like dark clothes and heavy makeup and converse, you go all the way plus we just like dark things!"
"Yea... Anyway you want to come to the movies with me and some of our goth friends?"
"Sure what movie?" I turned the corner to the big oak/maple tree were me and Zach first met in Kindergarden.
"I'll guess we decide when we get there!"
"Mhm k, I got to go do the flippin' laundry." I lied. I couldn't tell her, something about being a bad law in vampire laws.. blah blah blah
"We really need to get you a man get youout of the house!"
"How do you not that I already have one?"
"Trust me I would know; we tell each other everything! Duh!"
"Yea.. Bye!"
"Bye!" I closed my phone and thought about what Zach wanted me to come so urgently. He said something was important. I wonder what it could be?
~Zach P.O.V~
"What do ya mean I have to let her go?!" I asked.
"Well here is the thing kiddo.. Nate saw in the future that you were going to potentially kill her.." I looked over at Nate who's headwas bowed.
"Nate.. How am I going to kill her?"
"You lose control over something and you just kill her.. I didnt see all of it ok?" He said with his head still down.
"I can't just break up with her, I LOVE HER!!" Jake put his hand on my shoulder and said " Your just going to have to." With that, Jake and Nate left silently leaving it up to me to say'OhI can't be with you anymore bye." That's not how it is going down.
I walked out the door silently trying to think over how I'am going to break up with the one I love.
~A.J P.O.V~
I sat down at the tree waiting for Zach to come. I plugged in my headphones listening to Paramore.I looked at my watch 12:15. He was supposed to be here by now.I closed my eyes feeling the scorching sun beat down on my bare legs and my shoulders.
MaybeI should have broght my Sun Screen. I looked at my watch again 12:30.
Ugh.
I leaned back against the tree flipping through my songs. I felt someone take out my headphone and kiss my cheek. I looked up to see the guy I loved with all my heart and soul. Zach
He came and sat down next to me and pecked me gently on the lips.
"Hey." he said with his crazy cute/husky/seductive voice
"Hi"
"A.J there is something I need to tell you, and I know your not going to be happy when I say this, but we can't see each other anymore."
~Zach P.O.V~
"A.J there is something I need to tell you, and I know your not going to be happy when I say this, but we can't see each other anymore." I opened my eyes to have met her shocked ones.
"Your kiddding right?"
I shook my head.
"Why?"
"Beacuse we don't work out anymore."
She looked like she was going to cry. I brought her into a hug.
"I'm sorry babe." I kissed her, but she didnt kiss back.
"I'm sorry too." She got up and left without saying another word. I caught a glance of her face, she had tears streaming down her face. I felt like shit when I walked home.
Mostly I felt like I lost my other half.
