Tyler found out about your boyfriend being Klaus Mikaelson. He went after Klaus, ending up with them fighting in the middle of the forest. Tyler didnt believe that Klaus was with you to be with you. No, Tyler thought it was just to piss him off, or to bed you. So that's what he said to Klaus. And actually, contrary to belief, Klaus actually liked you. So, it was a huge mistake on Tyler's part.
