Elijah was checking in with a minion on your 'road trip' as he had put it. What really was going on was he was taking you away from Mystic Falls when Nikalus was coming in. He wasn't trying to, but when the minion was droning on, Elijah's eyes slipped over his shoulder to watch you. You were patiently waiting, leaning against the car. A small smile hinted at his lips but he surpressed it.
