August P.O.V

I wake up seeing nicki sleeping in my chest sleeping peacefully I was really surprised when she understood my reason for being in a gang. It was because I didn't want my grandparents to work there to old for that they deserve to rest so I pay everything for them and my sister because there all I got.Now nicki is apart of that and I'm so thankful God gave me somebody like that. I really hope we last forever and never end. Matter afact today I'm gonna take her to my grandparents house for she can meet then and my little sister I never took a girl there and this will be my first hopefully my last. Eating my food I started thinking about everything yesterday was crazy I got kidnapped and I found out August was in a gang. I could understand his reason of being in one tho and I'm with him alot it's not like I can't contact him and he's just out there doing Whatever. We had finished dinner we made chicken mashed potatoes macaroni greens yams cornbread and stuffing. I had never cooked so much before I was starving to taste this food me and his Grandma had put together."Comeee gettt itttt " his Grandma yelled and in runs Catherine and a few seconds later his grandpa walked in. We ate and talked about me and how I planned my future his Grandma said she thought of me of pretty & independent she said I was a smart young lady.
