Chapter 10 ( Independent )

Nicki POV

I was on the phone finishing my conversation with my boss Taylor

Taylor: Yes nicki I'm back be in my office before 10am

Nicki: Okay I'm on my way.

I got off the phone heading into August walk in closet I had bought a couple dresses for work I put on a black pencil dress that made my body shape pop out. I grabbed my purse going into the bathroom while looking into the mirror. I put on  some eye liner some mascara and some red lipstick. I let my hair down it was curly I put on some black heels and I grabbed my purse heading downstairs. It was 9:30am and August was working out in his gym room I went in there to tell him I'd be leaving for work. "August baby I'm leaving for work " I said while kissing him he pulled me in close by my waist deepening the kiss and holding me tight he pulled back. "I thought we talked about this nicki I don't want you working you don't need to so you should leave that fucking job " he said while squeezing my ass. "August I wanna work for myself I'm not just about to quit my damn job I'd like my own money sometimes babe" I said while playing in his hair. "Ugh you so fucking difficult! I told yo little ass you don't need to be working I'll take care of you! " he said with a straight face yelling "August stop yelling at me damn I don't care what you say I'm going " I said while pushing him back turning around and walking away he grabbed my arm tight and pulled me back "why you getting a fucking attitude and don't walk away from me nicki "he said while kissing me roughly "I love you baby "he said hugging me "hugging him back I pecked him and pulled his hair making him lean down "nicki let my fucking hair go! before I beat yo ass " he said trying to grab me. I pulled his hair tighter making him groan "apologize " I said laughing "man Nicki I'm go- " cutting him off I pulled harder "I'm sorry Damn! " he said groaning. letting him go I ran away "I love you bear " looking at him he was on the floor holding his head "when u come Back ima beat you ass".

I laughed heading out the door to my car.

I got out the elevator looking around heading to Taylor's office I knocked on her door first. "come in " I heard her say. Walking in I greeted her with a smile she was looking at my body while biting her lips. She had her hair down it was to her waist she had on a tight dress her boobs were popping out at the top showing some cleavage she had red lipstick and she had some paper work in her hands "well hello nicki how have you been? "I've been fine how was your trip? " I said looking at her "it went very well but I need you to look over these paper works because were hiring and I need you to look at these people backgrounds " she said while walking up to me really close handing me the papers "Oh and nicki I've missed you when your done come back and tell me your top 3 choices " she said while looking at my lips "okay sure and I've missed you too " I laughed a little while walking away to my office I looked back and saw her looking at my ass.  Was my boss flirting with me? is she gay? I don't know I might be tripping I thought to myself. I walked to my desk sitting down in my chair looking threw the papers .Damn 300 people ughh this is gonna be a long day I said while grabbing the first paper.

It took me all day I never worked this late here ever I was now done with everyone yawning I grabbed the top three people papers heading to her office I walked in. She looked up at me from her computer "you're done? tell me about the 3 people " she said looking up at me "okay well I have 2 men  and 1 lady f-" she cut me off "tell me about the girl " she said quickly "well she's 19 she went to college but the college is unknown she's from around here actually her record is clean an-" she cut me off again "Send her a email telling her she has an interview with us next week Oh and sorry for cutting you off I just like female workers better I like female power cause you know girls run the world " she said smiling "yes we do "I said laughing. I was about to turn around to go back to my office to email her but she stopped me. "you could do that first thing Monday nicki you've worked enough today sweetheart " she said smiling walking over to me "well thanks Taylor I'm about to head home goodnight " I said turning around. She turned me around putting her hands on my waist "nicki you've always looked sexy and I don't know if you noticed but I like you do you like girls? " she said while moving closer rubbing my sides. Stepping back quickly I looked at her "sorry Taylor no I do not but thx for the compliment see you Monday " I turned around walking out her office fast holding my purse it was only a few people here so it was kinda dark. She is not about to rape me he'll naw I thought while walking in the elevator.

I got home at 10pm going upstairs to August seeing him playing the game I walked in the room when he looked over at me he had a straight face he paused his game getting up heading over to me. "why you come home so damn late nicki " he said with a straight face. "chill I had to work late usually I'm out by 6 I had to do alot of fucking work for my boss and plus she fucking came on to me! " I said while taking off my heels and unzipping my dress I was now just in my bra in panties "she came on to you? " August laughed while going up to me massaging my back. It felt so good it relieved all my stress I didn't notice it but August picked me up bridal style and we were heading for the shower.

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while and this Chapter was kinda short but I been busy asf! I'm gonna continue updating everyweek hopefully more if y'all show me some love it encourages me to do it faster because I know how it feel waiting on somebody to update! but thanks for reading ❤
