Woken Poetry 5: Life, the roller-coaster

That rush you get, you climb, sky high,

and gliding freely, through the clouds,

the chance for you to laugh out loud,

rejoice in life's pure ecstasy.

Unsure of whats in store below,

indefinite of what you feel,

rethinking what you've done before,

success no longer feels sublime.

The nervous energy won't leave.

deliberating your escape,

you're belted in it wont let go,

persistance is essential now.

You're climbing now, so thank the Lord!

You're flying high above the clouds!

You've finally brought out the sun!
