perfect

you and george stood on the porch of the log cabin you were staying in for the week. he wrapped his arms around your waist as he placed his head on your shoulder.

tour was over, the royal albert hall shows were done, you'd finished your assignments and the pair of you were finally on a synchronised schedule. george had booked the cabin break a long while ago, knowing you wouldn't say no, despite if you had things to do. he wanted it to be just you and him for once. not you, him and the band or his siblings or any friends or family. just the two of you.

alone at last.

you embraced the nature and silence that surrounded you. you cherished just how lucky you were to have a boyfriend like george, or that your boyfriend was george.

the moon was just visible between a break in the trees and through the leaves, the stars were shining. no clouds interrupted the view that you and your boyfriend were appreciating.

there was nothing closer to perfect than this.
