                                                                           ~ PRESENT~

I've moved on. I tried to forget about the past. And I acted like a normal human and stayed in the 21st century instead of doing the last travel. I've made friends and got a job. I've become a normal 17 year old. And yet there are things that still give me pain. But I ignore them.

I changed my name. I now go by Lilly. Probably because if I heard Lillath, I would hear his voice. And that would be a stab to the heart. But I've accustomed to it. "Lily! Jill is having a party tomorrow, want to come with me?" I turned around, it was Tristen. Tristen was a short girl, 5'3, she had long black hair and blue eyes. Jill is a popular girl, she's nice enough, but we never really talked much.

"Tristen, you know I'm not much of a party person. Plus, we have an exam in two weeks." She gave me a firm look and then replied, "You work too hard. You should take a break." She came over and grabbed my hands. They were warm. Like Chris's. My face got red and I replied, "I'll go then!"

At the party there were about 10 people. At a table there was punch and some treats. Nothing alcoholic, our town was full of pretty good people. Being me, I'm not a people person much, so I went to the corner of the room by myself. Tristen was talking to Jill and other people were dancing.

I sighed and looked at my phone. It was 9:01. And hour has passed from when I got here, and I was considering leaving. But then I looked to my left at the other corner of the room. And there was a boy wearing a beanie with messy brown hair. His eyes were green. He looked so familiar, and then I realized who he was. "CHRIS?!"
