I got Chris's phone number last week when I got out of the hospital. We've been talking a lot. But not much about our past. Or our "travels". I think for the best. I hated what we used to do, and we both seem to have new lives. This weekend Chris invited me to go to the fair with him and then get chinese food afterwards.
Day of The Fair
I rang the doorbell of his apartment. It was small and the outside was blue and cute. It was very simple. He opened the door, he was very cute. He had his hair in a cute style wearing jeans and a simple shirt. I walked in and thanked him for inviting me. He said he had to go get something so I waited on the couch. On the coffee table was a diary. That's cute, what guy keeps a diary. I opened it to the first page.
Annabelle's hair reminds me so much of Lillath's. Lillath's hair, so brown long and curvy. And it always smells like strawberries. But I can't think about Lillath, I love Annabelle now. I have to move on. For her sake.
What I just read was enough. I can't believe it. Why would he even invite me to the fair if he didn't like me anymore."Hey Lillath," He said as he walked in the room. "I need to tell you something." That was it, I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to leave. I was going to cry, and not in front of him. No, he would just call me stupid and a cry baby. He loves some girl named Annabelle, not me.
"Lillath... Are you okay?" I replied to him in a quiet voice, "Whatever. I have to go study, I forgot. Sorry." He didn't respond, he just sighed, "You really are to caught up in your studies. I guess I'll come study with you."
That was what got me. He wanted me to think he cared, and I snapped, "WHY DON'T YOU GO STUDY WITH ANNABELLE." I ran home crying, hearing his voice telling me to come back.
