Your Fault (MHA Alternate Universe)

Part Two: What to do

Bakugou's P.O.V

No, no, no. What the hell did that idiot do? Why did he do it? Just why. I have to save him.

I pulled out ny phone and dialed 110 and reported an attempted suicide. They asked if he's still breathing and I checked... No pulse. Nothing, there was nothing coming out. No sound, no nothing. I told them very reluctantly that he wasn't. After three minutes an Ambulance showed up and took Deku's disfigured body on the bedding and covered it up.

That day I had lost my childhood friend.

I arrived home being escorted by the police and was on the verge of tears. I'm pretty sure my mom got a call about it because she was at the entrance waiting for me and when I got home I collapsed on to her, crying. I had never shown myself so weak infront of someone. I didn't like this feeling. There was so much pain in my chest and it felt like I was going to explode. There was so much I wanted to say, but all that came out was these stupid sobs abd mumbles, as well as incoherent sounds just coming from my mouth. My mom walked me to my room and laid me down on my bed. She stayed there until I had eventually stopped crying and by now I was feeling sleepy. I had eventually just closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I wasn't even at my house anymore. In fact I was back at school sitting in my desk. I didn't have time to think, when the classroom door opened and in walked Deku. I was shock when I saw him there sitting normally in his own desk behind me. There he was, completely fine and not dead. Before I had time to say anything, Deku spoke. "You know Kacchan, one day I want to be the greatest hero that ever lived. I wanna become All Might and save people and defeat bad guys".

He said it so normally I didn't even question it. He had told me this so many times, yet this felt like it was his first time saying that to me. "But you know Kacchan, I can't become a hero now can I. You said I couldn't and you know what, you were right. I can't become a hero".

I didn't understand what he was saying. I quickly turned around, but when I did I saw Deku's limp and disfigured body on the ground and I was suddenly standing up and outside the school. He went to open his mouth and then I opened my eyes. It was a god damn dream. I checked the time on my phone, 20:26. I didn't get that much sleep and I was feeling hungry. I decided to change out of my uniform because I was still in it. As I was done changing I conveniently heard a knock on my door. "Come in", I said. My voice was soft.

The door opened revealing my mother. "Katsuki, I made dinner if you want some, I served you a plate in the kitchen".

"Yeah, I'll go get it".

I walked out of my room and in to the kitchen to find a marbled steak with some matsutake and fresh steamed carrots on the side with a bowl of white rice on the side. I grabbed the plate and went to the dining room to eat.

I was almost done eating when I heard a faint knock at the door. My mom answered it and I saw Deku's mom at the door crying. She looked so weak, I could only imagine what she was feeling. I turned away from her and finished my food. What would she even say if she had found out that I was the cause to Deku's suicide. I washed my plate and went back into my room to go back to bed.

I woke up to my alarm and forgot that due to Deku's suicide the school had closed. I got out of bed and made my self cereal and ate it on the dining table. I picked up the remote to turn on the news and I totally forgot. Everything on the news is probably going to be about Deku so what's the point. I went to the kitchen and washed my dish. I changed my clothes and went out of the house. I just wanted to walk today. I put in my headphones and just walked.

I was about an hour in of walking when I saw a villain attack. It was some sort of sludge monster. I knew the heroes would deal with it so I just decided to ignore it. I walked into an alley and suddenly I was trapped. I couldn't move anything. I felt something cold and wet sourround me and then something disgusting shoved in my mouth. I needed to get away from it. I start blasting my explosions at the villain that was attacking my, but for everytime I did it his grip got stronger. "YOU PIECE OF SHIT, GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME"!!!

"I don't think so. You've got a nice quirk. One that I can take advantage of. I don't want to let you go".

"That's enough out of you, sewer sludge".

I know that voice. That's All Might's voice. I'll show him that I can get away. "DON'T HELP ME ALL MIGHT, I CAN DO THIS ON MY OWN"!!!

"That's not the way it works my boy. No here we help eachother out in times like this"!

I couldn't see much, but there was All Might's figure charging at the villain.

"TEXAS SMAAAAASH"!!!

I felt my body be released from the villain. He had somehow hurt the villain without hurting me. I stood there on the ground dumbfounded on how he did that. "You were really brave out there my boy".

"I had it on my own, you didn't need to save me".

Before I can say anymore he used his power to jump into the sky, but I wasn't done with him. I used my explosions to propel myself up into the air to follow him. Going at his speed and matching him in the air. "Woah, what are you doing? Don't follow me".

"Don't tell me what to do".

He landed on the roof of a building and I landed with him. He paused for a second and then he started steaming and coughing up blood. Suddenly he shrunk into this really skinny almost boney form. "Damn I wasn't able to get away from you in time".

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?! WHERE IS THE ALL MIGHT I WAS JUST WITH!? YOU BASTARD, I'LL KILL YOU"!!!

He put his hand on my head. "Quiet down would you. I'll explain everything".

He lifted up his shirt to reveal a pretty messed up stomach. "This happened when I was saving a ton of people".

I know exactly what he's talking about. When we were kids Deku and I used to watch that video all the time saying how cool All Might was. He explained that he was fighting a villain that was too much for him and he got stabbed in the stomach and it took years for them to fix that wound. "Kid what's your name"?

"Katsuki Bakugou".

"Well Bakugou my boy, do you want to surpass my power"?

He somehow knew that, that would strike a cord with me. I would do anything to beat All Might. "You bet I would".

"Good, would you mind telling me your address".

"Why the hell would I tell you my address"?

"Well, you want to surpass me right. I know a way you can do that. You want to don't you"?

"Damn right I do".

I proceeded to tell him and he told me to be up by six in the morning. He transformed into his form I'm used to seeing.

"Tommorow will be the day where you start your training to become the number one hero"!
