Part 4: The U.A. entrance exam

Bakugou P.O.V.

After three months of trying to use One ForAll and practice it, I feel I've finally got it down. After All Might taught me how to use it and put feeling into the quirk. I've definitely learned. All Might constantly said to try and implement my quirk into One For All. I honestly don't know what he means by that though.

I woke up in the morning at a regular time. All Might said that we didn't have training because we started the entrance exams started today. I specifically wanted to go into U.A. and get my hero liscense there. I put on my uniform from my old junior high and walked to U.A.

By the time I arrived everyone was already filling in to the auditorium and that's where I had to go, so I headed there. I sat in the back because I didn't want ti sit next to anyone else and then the Pro hero Present Mic appeared. He kept shouting and trying to hype up the crowd, but it didn't work. He yelled to much and his voice was really annoying so I didn't pay much attention to what he was saying. The only thing I did get was that there was a point system otherwise I didn't care. He sent us off and I changed into clothes that would be more comfortable to fight in. I looked at my card and saw where I had to go. I waited for something to happen until Present Mic appeared on the screen. "ARE YOU READY"!!!

Everyone started going insane, but I knew what I wanted and I was going to get it. "YOU'VE ALREADY STARTED, HEROES DON'T DO COUNTDOWNS"!

With that outrageous start everybody was off. If I had to be number one I had to get ahead. "Explosive Speed Turbo".

With that I was in the air scanning for robots. I saw one with the number two and went down and exploded it to bits. I had no time to waste as I was already in the air and spying for other ones. By the time five minutes had passed I had Sixty-eight points. Five minutes more I needed more, but these things are appearing scarcely. On the last minute of the competition, I heard someone scresm and looked over my shoulder to see a big Robot with the number 0. That must mean it's worth no points. It was going fast and there were people that couldn't even run that fast. I had to do something, I just felt it. "EXPLOSIVE BURST".

I suddenly launched my body at the robot with a high speed and braced my self. An explosion couldn't be pulled of so quickly so I had to use One for All. I braced my arms for impact, charged it as hard as I could and through the bottom of my lungs, I yelled "DIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE".

With the most instant pain that I felt through my body, the robot was smashed to pieces and I couldn't use my arm. Fuck, I can't use an explosion. Well I guess I'm falling. I was saved by a soft pillow the size of my body. I looked around in shock as to who could've done this. Then I saw a girl panting heavily and she looked up at me and put her thumbs up. That was the last thing I saw as my vision started getting blurry and everything felt heavy. I had passed out.

When I awoke I hadn't really felt like I fell asleep and I was still tired. I looked around, only to see All Might and an old woman in the room. "I see you slept well".

All Might smiled at me and I really couldn't give the smile that he wanted back. "Nah, I didn't really sleep at all".

He looked a little bit reluctant, but then he started smiling again. "Bakugou my boy. You did really good out there and I sincerely hope that you get in the school".

He proceeded to leave the room humming and his voice trailed off into the distance. "Hey, you still got your head in the clouds"?

I heard the old womans voice. "My name is recovery girl and I'm pretty sure you can tell, but I have healed the wounds on your arm. I can also suspect that you are really tired, but that is because it takes your energy to fix that arm. Do you have anymore questions?"

I shook my head. I didn't have anything to say. "Good then you can start heading home. Take this lolipop with you".

I took the lolipop and got out of the bed she was holding ke in and walked out of the school. As soon as I got home I immediately went to bed.

(Flash forward two days later)

I got back home from the gym when my mom confronted holding a letter with the U.A. insignia on the envelope. I took the letter and immediately went to my room. I had to get in, I just had too. I opened the letter very slowly and some sort of disc shaped device came out of it. I examined it until I saw the button on the side and decided to press it. It was a hologram of All Might in his muscular form. "Hello Bakugou my boy, how are you doing this fine day? Now I'm sure that you want to hear your results and that is fine and all, but I have to know. How did you pull out that smash expertly? I mean when I saw it you didn't exactly say smash did you? Ha Ha Ha."

I saw a finger wave in front of the camera signalling All Might. "What make this quick? ... I have how many to do!? ... Fine, fine. Bakugou, you must want to hear your results and I'm am supremely thrilled to tell you that you over acheived on your Hero entrance exam. It was through sheer determination that you did all of this and you got this far."

I saw a number flash on the hologram. 116/100 a number higher than the original score away. "Bakugou My boy, you got the highest entrance score any student has ever gotten in the history".

I got the highest score out of anyone, All Might practically spelled it out for me. I really am the best and really, no one can stop me!

My thoughts were presumably interrupted by a knock at the door. I turned off the hologram device. "Come in".

The door opened revealing my mother. "Katsuki, I got a few things for you".

She handed me a box that seemed moderately heavy for it's size. "Uh, Katsuki... About your friend Midoriya. I don't know all the details, but his funeral is coming up soon. It's going to be open casket, but there is no determined date yet. You should think about if you want to go or not. I kniw this is hard on you".

I sat on my bed thinking about what she just said and admired the box for a little bit. I saw a tag on the side and decided to read it. I'm sorry I went through with it Kacchan, but maybe this will make you feel better. I opened the gift and it revealed all of his collection of hero notes throughout the years with his most recent one being the one that I exploded and burned. "Damn it Deku".
