At first, David's parents did not believe him. But strange things kept happening. His birth mark glowed lightly at times. When he was angry, things would move on their own. Finally, he had the same nightmare again and again.
A week later, a strange lady knocked on the door. She explained that she was from the BIU (Bureau of Investigation for the Unusual). David's parents let her in and offered tea. She turned it down and asked them about David.
After they had told her what happened, she asked if David could join them. His mom called him from his room. He came in and the lady asked him if these things were true. He nodded. A green beam came out of her eyes, as if she was scanning him. "Hmmm..." she said.
"What is it?" David's mom asked.
"You are a psycic, no doubt," she replied. "Telekinesis is very rare gift, but most who have it do not have nightmares like you do. There is one thing I can offer you. I suggest that you go to super school. You be taught to control your powers along side others like you."
"Others like me as in strange or different?" David asked.
"Yes," she replied.
She left a few hours later, after David's parents had worked out all the details. They loved the idea of him going to a super highschool. David wasn't so sure.
A few weeks later, he was getting on the bus. His parents stood on the porch, waving him goodbye. His mother began crying. He waved them goodbye and got on the bus.
The bus was crowded. David walked to the back, looking for a seat. He finally found one and sat down next to a girl listening to music. He sat down quietly.
After a while, the girl toke out one of her ear buds and said, "It's my first day to".
"Yeah," David said distantly.
"I am Jessica Runners," she greeted him.
"Hi, I'm David Mills," he replied. They shook hands. "Ouch!" David yelped in surprise.
"Sorry," she apologized.
"You have a very strong grip," he said rubbing his hand.
"That's because I have super strength," she replied with a smile.
"That's cool," he exclaimed.
"What is your super power?" she asked. He hesitated before answering.
"I have psycic powers but I can't control them," he said.
"That's ok!" she replied. "I can't either. I have flown before, but I don't know how to." David smiled.
"Hey, wait," David said suddenly. "Why are we driving straight for the ocean!" The bus drove into the water and quickly sank. David and Jessica looked around in panic. They then realized that no water was leaking in. The bus began driving on the bottom of the ocean. Then the school came into veiw.
The school was surrounded by a bubble. The building was huge. There were so many buses. Some of them looked like submarines, swimming in the water.
"Oh... My... Gosh," David and Jessica said in unison.
