Hello, my name is Sheizon-sha and my sister’s name is Kowai. my mom (Tabeta) had me when she was 15. she said that she was young and dumb and that she wished that she was older and still had me as who I am. My sister is not her real daughter. my mom had a boyfriend (jisatsu) who was a homeless guy and we let him in and kowai in. After a couple of days they fell in love. He has a job or did before it went down….. Anyways I loved him with all my heart. I am 12 years old and my sister is 4.

I woke up to a nightmare and went downstairs to the 2nd floor to find my mom in the kitchen making coffee. Mom gave me a cup of coffee and asked “what would you think if me and Jistsu got married?” I traced the rim of the cup with my fingertip “I like him, he’s cool. When he first got here I thought that he was lazy but he isn’t. And he is a nice guy!”. My mother smiled and said “I hope one day we do get married.” we were interrupted by a loud bang on our neighbor's window. My mother got up and looked outside. There was a man who was torn apart but still moving. My mother dropped her cup, coffee splashed all over the floor. the man looked over at the window, seeing my mother who was looking out. he ran over and began banging on our window. we ran downstairs with Kowia and Jistsu. My mother called the police and told them what had happened then a second later “BANG!”. The THING was in our house. I was a big fan of the walking dead but when it happening in real life I hated it. We all watched it, so we all had learned some survival stuff. When I said, “what if they are dumb and go slow like the walking dead?” Jistsu whispered, “no, it’s not. they run and they seem smart. we don’t know ANYTHING about these things yet. And we should whisper okay?” Kowai whispered  “o-okay daddy.” My mother nodded. I ran over to my phone that I left downstairs and texted my friends. but you know when you get a text it makes a noise? well, I am one of those people who BLAST, and I mean BLAST, the volume up. And well that isn’t good. I turned it down but it was too late and the thing heard it, the thing’s footsteps thumped down the stairs. Jistsu broke the window with a brick.  We all were going out when My mother neighbor's window. My mother got up and looked outside. There was a man who was torn apart but still moving. I looked at the person and almost screamed hugging kowai tighter before they covered my mouth and whispered “Shh. I am friendly. I just want to help. Okay?” I calmed down and whispered “we could use some help do you have a place we can stay that is safe and not invested with those hmm runners I guess?” he whispered “no, but do you know a place because I sure don’t” I whispered “we have a guess but we should try it because it is my best bet.” Kowai hugged me and whispered, “b-but sister t-the road and sidewalk a-are f-filled with runners.” I looked at the road then the forest then the alleyway and whispered “we would be safe going in the alleyway because they can't see. What do you guys think?” They both nodded and we went to the school.
