I woke up at 6:30 this time. It has been 3 months. I have been waking up so early. Most of the time I think that the sun will be coming up but it never is it is just dark… I look in the bag to see if we need to get supplies. There bearly anything only cereal and stale bread. I look at Kowai who is sleeping peacefully. I guess no breakfast today… again… We will have to go to the shop again if we are super hungry and last time we were there it got was messy… really messy… I look over at Omo and he was sleeping too. I pushed him back and forth to wake him up. He woke and said, “isn’t it too early to wake?” I shrugged and said, “I guess it is but we are almost out of food… and I know you don’t want to because of last time… I will make some coffee to get you ready to move okay?” I made the coffee and then heated it up. I poured the coffee into the cup and then the creamer and sugar. I handed Omo the coffee and then made another for myself. I traced the rim of the cup with my fingertip. It reminded me of the first day it all happened. But I didn’t let it bother me. Omo and I talked for a little. Kowai woke up and I made her coffee too. I bearly do this so Kowai asked, “why are you giving me coffee?” I said, “because we are going to the shop today…” Kowai gave me a look and then said, “We can’t because of the last tim-” I said “I know Kowai!!!... I know… it was messy… but do you want to starve?” Kowai said “s-sorry sissy…” I said “sorry Kowai but I don’t want you to starve… and this time I want you to stay here.” Kowai said “No! Si-” I covered her mouth and said “quiet… I am doing this for your safety.” she looked down and said “okay I will stay here…”. In the last few months, I have been teaching Kowai what to do if we get robbed or somehow a runner gets up here. I taught her also how to use a gun. That is why I am trusting her to be alone. We headed to the shop using alleyways to get there. like we always do to get anywhere really. We were walking when a runner was running to a kitty. I quickly picked it and then went back to Omo. Luckily it didn’t hear me. I put in Omo’s hands and whispered, “go back to Kowai and put the kitty there. We will meet up at the shop okay?” Omo nodded and headed for our hideout. I sighed and headed towards the shop. When I got to the shop I waited for Omo to come. I waited for a while. Omo came and whispered, “sorry it took so long there was a lot of runners. Anyways what do you want to get?”  I whispered, “cat stuff, food, water, clothes, and anything we might need.” We headed in. Then I remembered the first time I went to the store with my mom in a long time was amazing because she never talked or really moved ever since… my real father passed so that was amazing… My real father died in a war my mother gave up really… My father was the most nicest most kindest man I have ever met. He always sacrificed himself for other people that he didn’t even know… that is what got him killed… anyways we got some clothes and stuff we needed but when we got to the medicine… there was a man there who was missing his legs and was begging us to help so loud saying “help me please I will do anything you want!! Please please!!!” we had to get him outside. we should leave him but we couldn’t get medicine… so we had to shoot him in the head and then let them (runners) eat him. We shot him outside and went back over the medicine cabinet and got pain killers and disinfecting meds.
