 "Thanks Jade" He says softly. I sit beside him and eat my food. "Hey I'm going to Sam's to film a video do you want to come?" He asks. "Sure" I reply. "Alright come on" He says standing up. We go to Sam's and I just watch them film and I handle the camera for their video. I sit and laugh the whole time we were filming because Colby can't stay serious for shit. Once we were done filming Colby said he had to go somewhere. I nodded and I walked down to his car with him and we started to drive. I recognized where we were going. He was going to Brennen's. "Colby don't" I beg. "He deserves what I am about to do to him. He shouldn't hurt a girl like you" He says holding in his anger. "Why do you care so much about me Colby" I say angrily. "I like you okay!" He screams. I smile slightly and giggle that he finally said it I could tell that he liked me considering that he had nightmares when I wasn't with him. "Awesome you think it's funny" He says slamming his hands on the steering wheel. "I don't think it's funny I think it's cute" I say softly. He then pulls up to Brennen's house and looks at me. "Whatever happens do not get out of this car" He says in a very serious tone. I nod at him and he smiles at me and hands me the keys. "If you see Brennen comes towards this car you leave, you hear me" I nod once more and he steps out of the car. Locks the doors and then walks inside of Brennen's. I hear Colby screaming and Brennen telling him to stop. I continue to hear screaming and I hear a crash and see Colby fly out the front door and Brennen following. Colby is now laying on the grass and he is looking at me and yells "GO" but I'm not leaving him. I crawled into the drivers seat and stepped out of the car and hid from Brennen. He luckily didn't notice me and he kept walking towards Colby. Colby's forehead has a scratch like he got hit in the head with something. Brennen then pulls out a knife and Colby dodges it and knocks Brennen out. I then call the cops to get Brennen and I run over to Colby and help him get up. I stand him up and he holds his stomach and winces in pain. "Colby what happened" I say almost starting to cry. "He had a knife Jade....He was ready for me to come here" He says weakly. "Did he stab you?" I ask nervously. "Yes but it's not that bad, It just hurts really and because it's a slice not a gash" He says wincing. I help him into the passengers seat and speed home. He didn't want to go to the hospital because it's not that bad so I listened and took him home and cleaned his cuts and helped him walk to bed because he hurt his ankle. I went to walk away but he grabbed my hand. "Stay....Please" He says softly. I nod and sit beside him and he lays his head in my lap. I play with his hair and he starts to cry. "I thought he was different" He sobs. "Me too Cole, me too" I reply. I sit and play with his hair until he falls asleep and I then move him and lay down beside him. I then feel him put his arm around my waist and cuddles his face into my hair. I sit there and just listening to his breathing before falling asleep in his arms. I wake up to the sun shining through the curtains of his room. I turn see him still out cold with his lips slightly parted and a light snore escaping them. I smile and kiss his forehead softly. I think I'm falling for my exes best friend. Well my exes ex best friend to be exact. I had to film for a video so what I did was decided to write a song on the spot. I just started to play the guitar and sing.
