Meeting Mrs. Malfoy

"Draco, darling, you look so good. And you must be Ms. Granger. My Draco has written to me about you," My mother looked healthier than I remembered.

After introductions are made I say, "Mother, really? Do you have to bring that up? The letters?" I roll my eyes and huff in a way that makes Hermione laugh.

"Draco don't be mean to your mother," Hermione argues as my mother smiles a million dollars.

"Draco, Ms. Granger is perfect for you," My mother whispers into my ear.

"Mother, how about we go to the three broomsticks? I'm sure Madame Rosmerta would love to speak to you," I suggested as I ignored my mother's comment.

"Narcissa, come again. It was such a pleasure to catch up," Madame Rosmerta waves at us as we leave the three broomsticks an hour later.

Over the hour, my mother, Hermione, and I conversed with Madame Rosmerta. Hermione and my mother really liked each other.

"Goodbye Draco, darling, it was a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Granger," My mother said her goodbyes to us. My mother kisses me on the cheek.

"I had a wonderful time today, Mrs. Malf- Narcissa. I hope to see you soon," Hermione and my mother share a sideways hug.

"See you soon," My mother waves before turning around and walking away.

As if on cue, snow starts to fall. "Did you want to do shopping now?" I look at Hermione.

"S-ss-sure," She chatters from the cold.

"Are you cold? I could warm your lips for you," I smirk at Hermione and she rolls her eyes but leans toward me nonetheless. When our lips touch, I can feel both of us shiver.

"Oh my Merlin! Is that Hermione Granger with Draco Malfoy?" A voice behind us screeches. Rita Skeeter. Hermione and I freeze and turn toward the voice.
