Zim used his pak legs to climb into the elevator. As it went up Zim remembered his computer, it hadn't spoken in ages. Zim wondered what happened to it... Maybe it was just waiting to be paid attention to?
"Computer?" Zim asked. There was no response for a few seconds before there was a robotic groan.
"I'm trying to sleep here!" The computer grumbled before turning off again.
"Well that was useless!" Zim pouted.
When the elevator arrived at the top Zim's pak has already began healing him from the taser attack. He was able to stumble out of the kitch to where he saw Skoodge talking to his tallests! Zim stood by the entrance and watched closely... It seemed like they'd just started talking.
...
When the screen darkened Skoodge stood back up. He couldn't believe this! The tallests were such scum leaving them to rot on Urth! When Skoodge turned around to fetch the hopefully still sleeping Zim from the lab he saw Zim standing at the living room entrance blankly.
"Zim! How long have you been here?" Skoodge exclaimed. Zim didn't reply for a moment before staring up at Skoodge sadly.
"Am I really... Defective?" Zim sniffled.
"We both are..." Skoodge crosses his arms and stared down at the ground.
"Are we really gonna die?" Zim began tearing up. Skoodge walked over to Zim and pulled him into a hug.
"No Zim. We can't give up and just fall into the hooves of the Xoriks yet!"
"But what can we do? We have no way of escape and no ones coming for us!"
"Zim, listen, you are the the bravest invader I know. Even though we're both defective we aren't dead yet, that's something a lot of Irken invaders cannot say. When you were sent to Urth everyone though you would die on day one and look at you! You're still alive and remember that time with the Florpus, the tallests barely escaped! Come on i've got a plan!"
Zim super tears from his eyes.
"You're right Skoodge, I am Zim! And that means we shouldn't give up yet! If we work together we could possibly topple the Xoriks!"
"Well I was thinking more we just escape-."
"THANK YOU SKOODGE FOR INSPIRING ME WE SHALL DEFEAT THE XORIKS!" Zim yelled, "But we might need more help, from someone who is also kinda okayish and would be expendable..."
"Who's that?"
