Snakepaw made his way through the crowd. "Get out of my way! I need to see my sister!" Everyone was panicking. A fox? In the camp? That's something to worry about! But the fact that my sister got attacked by it??? Even worse!
He heard that Owlwhisker, Mintpaw's mentor, had left her alone so he could get something in the camp. Then a fox attacked her while he was gone. Then, the fox made its way into the camp once Mintpaw was weak. The warriors were fighting it right now, along with some older apprentices and the leader, Smokestar. He kept pushing and shoving cats out of the way until he got to his sister.
His usually energetic sister was laying on the ground unconscious. Blood soaked her golden pelt. Her breathing was faint. "Is she gonna survive?" Their mother, Goldenwind, said nervously. Quietpool, the medicine cat, sighed. "I don't know, honestly. She didn't just basically get her whole body ripped apart, she also suffered a blow to the head."
"I'm scared, Mama." Snakepaw's younger sibling, Mousekit said to Goldenwind. She meowed something reassuring to the kit and she nodded and went to the other kits. Owlwhisker held his head in his paws, saying how bad of a mentor he was for leaving her. Quietpool carried her into camp silently. Please StarClan, let her survive... Please.
