Chapter Nine

Danny's POV

I woke up in a room. How did I get here? When did I fall asleep?

" Good...you're up."

" What do you want with me Winter?"

" I just want to be with you. Your my mate."

" I'm serious."

He sighed and walked over. I couldn't even look at him. He was so....

Knock out of it dammit!

" Don't step any closer or I'll kill you."

" Sure you would. You're so the killing type."

I growled at him. He smirked and in a second he was on top of me. I snarled and nipped at his hands. I tried to shift but couldn't.

" What did you do?"

" It's a wonder what a little drink can do...don't worry it's not permanent. "

I bucked up against him - clearly not thinking things over. He pressed his body closer to mine pinned me hands above my head.

" You know what I really want?"

" Please don't do it."

" I wonder...."

He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed him back wanting more. I relaxed under him forgetting about...what...who...what's his name. He pulled away for a second and kissed my neck. Then he looked up eyes a dark lustful color.

" Be mine Danny."

I kissed him again. I needed my mate. I needed Winter. God, how I want to be his. My mate. Mine. All mine. For always and eternity.

Tate's POV

I woke up in the woods. Like...how the hell did I get here? I looked around. My ears were pounding and I felt like I was still sleep.

" Well well...Tate."

" Kira," I whipped around baring my fangs.

" Why are you on our land? I mean we actually paid for this...why are you here?"

" I...I don't know."

She studied me. I heard a quick heartbeat. It came from somewhere else. I just stood there looking at her. Then suddenly memories of last night flashed before my eyes like a white light.

Dammit it's getting late. I walked back to the house when I got a call. I looked to see it was Danny.

" Hello?"

" Okay. Listen now is the time to show me I can trust you and help me get Danny back from Winter."

" Wait what?! He has her?"

" Find her! We'll meet you there soon."

" Okay...I'm on mywaynow."
