Chapter Six

Alpha's POV

I woke up to the smell of breakfast being made. My stomach growled loudly. I got out of bed, stumbling over to my dresser. I put on some clothes and walked out of my room. As I walked to the kitchen I remembered that my aunt Snow is coming over with her son Malcolm. She was Luna of the Crescent Moon Pack. I didn't care much about them. I just wanted to know if they found my mother yet. She has been missing since March and it's about to be November.

" Something troubling you?"

I looked up, startled by the voice.

" Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you."

" What do you want Robert?"

He glared at me for calling him his real name, but still answered my question.

" Just wanted to know if you are okay. I mean with your mother missing, the humans tearing down the area near one of our hunting spots, and with D-"

" Don't...talk about her. I swear if you say another goddamn word about her I will kill you. She is a disgrace."

He nodded, mumbling something under his breath. We reached the kitchen, the smell stronger than ever. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausages, and hash browns. My stomach growled louder - or was that me - and I sat at the table. Hannah - one of the omegas - was cooking again. She set a plate in front of me and Rob. Other began coming in, and she immediately started cooking more and setting out plates and handing food over. Seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths, and sixths were being passed out.

" Alpha, you have a visitor."

" Okay. Wait until I am done eating."

" But alpha she wants to see you now."

" Bullshit. Whoever it is can wait."

She hesitated for a moment the another voice came from the entrance of the kitchen.

" No my dear, Sebastian, I cannot wait."

I looked at her for a long time before getting up. How did she get here, and why was she here. I followed her into the hall. From there we walked to my office. When we were both in and the door was shut she sat on the edge of my desk, and smiled at me.

" What do you want?"

" I just wanted to see how you were doing. You know he is asking about you right?"

" I don't care. And I am fine now please get out."

" Sebastian...I did come here for something else, but I don't think you'll help."

" What is it so you can leave?"

" I want you to come over and have dinner with me. It's been a while..."

She got up and circled me. I watched her carefully. She reached up and stroked my face. I smacked her hand away, and ignored the tingles she sent down my face.

" You should think about it. You can't keep ignoring me. I am your mate."

" You are a devil."

" And you like that about me. So...what shall it be, Sebastian."

" No."

" Wrong answer. You can come at six o'clock. I'll be waiting, and if you are late...well...sweetie...you'll find out. Tell Danny I said hi will you?"

She winked at me, and left. I looked at my desk. She left a note for me. I opened the folded note, and read it to myself.

I know where your mother is, and I can help you get her...if you do me...a favor.
