Who would have thought, Loki? (Part 2)

I know I had said before that each story will be an individual chapter....but the last one really left me thinking I can do so much more with those two! So here is..part 2

The rays of sunlight streamed into her room through the window. Why did it have to be morning so quickly, she mentally sighed. She opened her eyes and stretched her arms, letting her eyes adjust to the light.

The memories of the night before filled her mind. The difficult journey had been worth the adventure of the previous night. Princess (y/n) laughed softly as she remembered all the thoughts that had crossed her mind as Prince Loki taught her the simple spell. There was a little bird sitting on her windowsill, chirping softly. She smiled at it with dreamy eyes.

She had never thought that she would ever wake up to thoughts of a man on her mind. She turned in her bed, still not fully awake to be faced with....

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!"

She let out a shrill scream, in shock, scaring away the poor bird by her window.
The man who occupied her mind was apparently occupying her bed too! Loki lay right next to her, bare-chested and quite comfortably asleep. She covered her mouth with her hands. If prince Loki was in her bed and someone found out, it would be bad! Very, very bad!!

But How..? What..? When..? She wanted to bombard him with questions. But when she looked beside her once again, he was gone.

She was now even more confused, but it didn't take long for her to figure out what had happened. She facepalmed. She could picture the smirk forming on the prince's lips, knowing that she fell for his prank.

She would not let this pass so easily...

He had risen from his slumber before the sun had. His mind was filled with thoughts of the previous night. He had never enjoyed someone's company this much before, mostly because he was always rebuked for the things he did because they were considered unacceptable. But now he had met his match. Princess (y/n) enjoyed doing the unacceptable as much as he did.

It was then that he was struck with an idea. If anyone could take a prank from Loki, it would be the princess. But it had to be something special, something unique. She would not be shocked by a regular "Snake in her bed"...... But what if...? Loki chuckled as a plan slowly started to form in his mind.

His mind now returned to the present. He knew that the sun was now up so he wouldn't have to wait much long...

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh"

Worth the wait, he thought as he chuckled in his bed.

Both the royal families had seated themselves at the breakfast table. All members were present save the princess (y/n).

"I wonder why she's late. This behaviour is unacceptable!" Exclaimed the queen Valencia.

King Alec seemed perturbed too. But his mannerisms were much more controlled. "She is never late. I'm sure there's good reason behind it"

Meanwhile, the younger prince sitting proud and upright held back a snicker. Unfortunately for him, his mother had been watching him and caught his action. However, she chose to ignore it for the time being as bringing it up might not be wise given the company present.
