Chapter I

July 31, 1980...

James and Lily were at St Mungos so Lily could give birth to their child. After 10 hours of pain, she gave birth to their son. "Lily, our son is beautiful," James said, happy that he had a son. "I know James, but what will we name him?" Lily replied carrying the baby boy in her hands. He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe Harry?" Lily thought for a good moment. Harry was a good name for a baby. "Lily?" James asked the in-thought Lily. "Harry is a good name so lets name him Harry." "But what about his middle name?" "That is true! Wait!" She thought for a minute. "Why don't we name his middle name James?" "Yeah that will work." "Welcome to the Earth, Harry James Potter. Wait! Who's his godfather?" James was thinking about what Lily just stated so he replied on the words of, "Padfoot could be his godfather." She gave him a look as if to say 'that is a good person to be his godfather'. Sirius was waiting outside with Remus who was eating a bar of chocolate. A nurse came to them and she said, "You can come to see the baby now." They walked in to see James, Lily and Baby Harry. Sirius was enthusiastic about a baby boy who was the son of a his best mate who was like a brother to him. Remus was happy as well and he asked, "What is his name?" James chuckled and replied with, "Harry James Potter is his name." "What?! You didn't name him after me?! How could you?!" Sirius jokingly stated. Lily could see that he was about to flip out so she told him, "Padfoot you're his godfather." Sirius sighed. "I guess that would be nice. But I still would love it if his name was Sirius." Harry started to cry like any other baby would. James picked him up and rocked him to sleep. "Prongsie, you're a good father already," Remus teased him. "Shut it," he replied to defend himself. "You are a good father, honey," Lily said. After a a couple of weeks, they were able to go back to Godric's Hollow with the newest member of the family. Harry Potter.

October 31, 1981

Voldemort was walking through Godric's Hollow to kill the Potters. There's was a loud bang on the door. James heard this and warned Lily immediately. "LILY! VOLDEMORT IS HERE!" She put down 1-year-old Harry and his one month old baby sister, Alexia in shock. "What?!" She got her wand out, along with James, and just in time, Voldemort crashed through the door and started to duel the couple. As the duel continued, Voldemort casted the killing curse, unfortunately hitting Lily. She was not killed however, just knocked out. The curse rebounded and hit him, putting the unknown horcrux into Harry. After Voldemort left the house, Lily woke up and started kissing James. "Lily, are you okay?" James asked her. She nodded and looked at Harry and Baby Alexia who were crying. "We need to live somewhere else," James suggested. Lily agreed with him and put the babies in their  buggy. Sirius apperated and looked everywhere. "No-nose attacked, didn't he?" "Yeah Padfoot, he did. I just thought Peter was trustworthy." They went outside and saw a motorbike. "Hagrid!" James exclaimed. The half-giant was shocked that he and Lily were alive but happy. Until he saw Sirius. "Yer traitor! Yer betrayed James and Lily!" Hagrid exclaimed. "Yer sold them to You-Know-Who!" "No Hagrid. Sirius didn't sell us out," James said to his defence. "What do yer mean?" Sirius went into the conversation by saying, "I wasn't the secret keeper anymore because I thought it would be so obvious. So we gave it to Peter. Then that weak and utter scumbag ratted their location to Voldemort!" Hagrid was shocked to hear that; he started to apologise to Sirius for yelling at him. Remus found out this so he was part of them moving into a big, magnificent house.
