{This is continuing from where we left off in this chapter}
There was a knock on the door outside so Lily went outside; no one was there so she went back inside and informed everyone that nobody was there. Everyone went into the huge living room and waited for the Weasleys. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door outside; Remus went down into the door and opened the door, revealing the Weasleys. Weasleys as in Mr and Mrs Weasley, the Weasley twins, Ron and Ginny. "Come in. Harry and Lexie are excited to see you guys, especially you Ginny," Remus said with a smile. The children went through the door and went into the living room. Ginny hugged Lexie first and then hugged Harry, longer than she hugged Lexie. She broke the hug, blushing and looking down whilst Harry was gazing at her. Ron, being an arse, said, "Come on, Harry. Let's go to the garden." He looked at Ginny, coldly. "Away from Ginny." Harry cut his gaze off and replied with, "Sure." After Harry and Ron went outside, they sat down on the grass. "Ron, that was mean of you to say that Gin shouldn't come," Harry said. Little did they know, Lexie and Ginny were listening behind a bush. "Harry, Ginny is so annoying. She always tries to steal my friends, always spends time with you and she is a girl. Girls should never be friends with guys," Ron said. Ginny was shocked; was that what Ron thought of her? As an annoying sister? "Was this what my brother thinks about me?" "I'm sure that he does care about you; maybe he wanted to talk to Harry alone," Lexie said, trying to defuse the situation. Ginny was about to cry but she was so angry that she came out of her hiding spot. "Ginny! Sis, how long were you there?!" Ron said trying to cover up what he said. "Long enough to know that you don't want me around you or your friends!" Ginny replied, trying to hold the tears that were about to fall down her face. "It's true, though! You are always around boys who are my friends. Even Harry and Lexie find you so annoying! No one cares about you!" Ron spat. This was what he said that went too far because Ginny ran away, letting the the tears that she was holding to fall down her face. Lexie came out of the hiding spot and scoffed, saying, "What sort of brother are you?! Harry thinks she's the most amazing, most beautiful girl he's ever met!! Rot in hell!!" And with that, Lexie walked away from them, angrily to try to find Ginny. Harry walked away from Ron, trying to find Ginny; how could Ron say that about his own sister?
He went into his room because he and Ginny said that if either of them were angry, sad, hurt or bored, they would come into his room. Ginny was on his bed but it wasn't just her; there was a house elf jumping on the bed. "Hello?" Harry asked the house elf. "Harry Potter! So long has Dobby wanted to meet you, sir..such an honour it is for Dobby..." Harry looked over to Ginny who had stopped crying. "Th-thanks," Harry said, sitting on his bed with his arm around Ginny. "Who are you?" "Harry, his name is Dobby the house-elf," Ginny said. "I've heard of him." "Ginny Weasley is right, Harry Potter. My name is Dobby, sir, Dobby the house-elf," Dobby said. "Dobby has come to tell you, sir....it's difficult to start... Dobby wonders where to begin.." "Sit down," Harry said politely, pointing at a bed. "Sit down!" Dobby said, bursting into tears. Ginny hugged Dobby and said, "Dobby, it's okay. I guess you never got a chance to sit down," whilst pulling away from the hug. "Dobby is grateful that Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley are kind to Dobby. Dobby was never asked to sit down by his family." Harry, being curious, asked, "You have a family? I thought you were a free-elf?" "Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby!" The house-elf shouted, as he banged his head on the lap. "What are you doing?" Harry hissed, calmly so the adults wouldn't hear what's going on from downstairs. "Dobby had to punish himself, sir," said Dobby. "Dobby almost spoke ill of his family, sir..." "Your family?" "The wizard family Dobby serves. Dobby knows Harry Potter knows about how house-elves like Dobby are enslaved by Wizarding families." Ginny, who was busy listening to their conversation, finally said, "Do they know that you're here?" Dobby shuddered and said, "Oh no, miss, no... Dobby will have to punish himself most grievously for coming to see you, Harry Potter. Dobby will have to shut his ears in the oven door for this. If they ever knew-" "But won't they notice if you shut your ears in the oven door?" Harry asked. "Dobby doubts it, sir. Dobby is always having to punish himself for something, sir. They let's Dobby get on with it, sir. Sometimes they reminds me to do extra punishments..." "But can't we help you?" Ginny said. "Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley asks if they can help Dobby... Dobby has heard of your greatness, sir, but of your goodness, Dobby never knew..." Harry gave a look at Ginny who gave him a hard glance that was saying something like, 'Are you going to take that?'
"Whatever you've heard about my greatness is a hole load of rubbish. I'm not even the top of my year at Hogwarts, that's Hermione, she-" But he stopped because thinking about Hermione was painful and Ginny looked down, unsure if she was supposed to be there. "Harry Potter is humble and modest," said Dobby reverently, his orb-like eyes aglow. "Harry Potter speaks not of his triumph over He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." "Voldemort?" said Ginny. Dobby clapped his hands over his bat ears and moaned, "Ah, speak not the name, miss! Speak not the name!" "She didn't mean it," Harry said quickly. "I know lots of people don't like it- my best mate Ron..." He stopped again. Thinking about Ron was painful because of the way he mistreated his own sister. Dobby leaned towards the two. "Dobby heard tell," he said, hoarsely, "that Harry Potter met the Dark Lord for a second time, just weeks ago...that Harry Potter escaped yet again." Harry nodded, making him and Ginny to feel uncomfortable. It was the only one downside to being best friends with the Boy Who Lived; people always mention his fame, making him to always feel him and her uncomfortable. "Ah, sir," he gasped, dabbing his face with a corner of the grubby pillowcase he was wearing. "Harry Potter is valiant and bold! He has braved so many dangers already! But Dobby has come to protect Harry Potter, to warn him, even if he doesn't have to shut his ears in the oven door later... Harry Potter must not go back to Hogwarts." Harry and Ginny looked at each other again and Ginny said, "What?! He has to go back, term starts in September the first." Dobby told them that there was going to be a plot that Voldemort would do. After he finished telling them, Dobby vanished, with a crack like a whip. Harry and Ginny went back downstairs and Ron looked at her. "Ginny, I'm so sorry that I said that no one likes you; I was just angry," said Ron, who sounded sincere with his apology. "It's okay," Ginny said as she put her jacket on. "Come on, kids. We have to get going back home," Mrs Weasley said. "Oh, come on!!" Fred and George groaned. "Don't worry, guys," James said. The Weasleys left and they all went to bed. All Harry could think about, though, was what Dobby said; he's going to be in danger.
A/N: So, I know that Harry and Dobby have a conversation without Ginny but I added her in the scene because since the films reduced her to a wet piece of lettuce, I thought it would be a nice idea if she was there. I hoped you all enjoyed the chapter with the change and the story so far.
