Sana's perfect life turns upside down because of Eunha's envy. The latter paid a man to kidnap and rape her to get what she wanted—Kim Taehyung. As the offender got his job done, he sent the heiress back to her home and surrender himself to the police. After a week of imprisonment, his lady boss billed him out.
The inhumane doing traumatized Sana but she recovered fast with the help of her friends and family. A month later, they discovered that she was pregnant. Her dad despised the child and demand to abort the baby.
Although she never wanted to have a kid, she couldn't stomach killing an innocent infant as well. She ran away from her family to protect the life inside her belly. Luckily, she saw a cab that night and rode in it. It happened that the driver of the vehicle was no other than her perpetrator—Tzuyu.
Knowing her dad won't stop looking for her, she took the risk and asked Tzuyu to let her stay at his house. The place was a lot different from hers yet, she managed to adjust at the way of living they have in the squatters area. She found out that Tzuyu was not as bad as she thought he was and he only got himself involved in such crime for her sister.
The longer Sana stayed with them, the more she got closer to Tzuyu. She forgives and accepted him wholeheartedly. Eventually, she fell in love with the Taiwanese man and they became couples. They planned to name the baby as Yuna if it was a girl and Yuan for the boy.
Unfortunately, She got a miscarriage after Eunha purposely hit her with an SUV. While she was lying on the hospital bed unconscious, her parents talk to Tzuyu with insults. They also warned the poor guy to stay away from their daughter and that he showed up only if he already got a stable job.
He decided to accept his multi-billionaire mom—Kim Taehee—to help him fix himself.
The next day, he boarded to the US with Hyunjin leaving everyone behind without saying a word. He promised that once he finished his studies he'll get his girl back.
As for Sana, she grows hatred towards Tzuyu as she thought he abandoned her in exchange for money. She was so vulnerable at that very moment for losing both of the people she loves.

. Four years later, Tzuyu returned to Korea as the new CEO of the Inheritance Perfume Company. The two finally met at the Kim's welcome party for the young CEO surprising everyone. The thing is that they misunderstood each other which led to a much-complicated relationship.
As the celebration ended, Tzuyu went to a bar with Limario and drown himself with liquor to ease his heartache. His nonbiological sister—Nayeon—and their friends scolded him. They also decided that they needed to have a serious talk with Sana.
