George walked quickly out of the tent, approaching the photographers in purposeful, confident strides. He waved his hands in a parting motion, like Moses parting the Red Sea.
"Time for you all to move."
He stood in front of one particularly stubborn photographer who hadn't moved. He stood over the man and crossed his arms, pushing upward, causing his already bulging muscles to protrude even further. He was the Hulk... minus the green skin.
"Or do I need to move you?"
The photographer paused momentarily, seemingly contemplating whether or not he had a death wish, before swallowing and stepping to the side.
"Smart choice."
He walked around to the car and unlocked the driver's door.
"Hey, isn't that Eli's car?" A photographer stepped toward the car, but immediately retreated as George glared him down.
George looked up and grinned. "What? Are you saying I don't look like Eli?"
He looked pointedly at the entire group of photographers gathered around the car. "Eli already left the set. He secured other transportation, seeing as how you all were so rude to his driver. I'm returning his car for him."
His eyes narrowed into an intimidating glare. "Any of you want to follow me and take my picture?" The response was silence. "Didn't think so."
He climbed in the car and took off, purposely maneuvering the car near the photographers as he pulled away, causing them to jump back slightly. He wound around the Lake of the Isles neighborhood for a few minutes, turning down several side streets in a random pattern as he watched his rear view mirror.
When he was confident that he had not been followed and he had allowed enough time, he made his way back to the set. He avoided the main entrance, making his way to Gate C instead. As he had anticipated, there was no one staked out at that gate. After passing through security, he drove down the long loading entrance. He turned the car around so it was facing out, ready to make an easy exit.
Eli and Lyn quickly approached the car as soon as he pulled in. George hopped out, holding the door open for Lyn.
"Thank you, George," Lyn said softly as she touched his arm. "Really. Thank you."
George smiled, his eyes twinkling. "Anytime, Miss Lyn. You take care of yourself, now." He smiled widely, glancing between Lyn and Eli. "I hope you'll be a regular guest on our little set."
Lyn just shrugged and smiled as she sat down in the car. She laughed softly as she realized she was practically sitting in the back seat. Oh yeah, the Hulk was driving. She pulled the lever to move the seat forward. George smiled and closed her door before walking to Eli.
Eli held out his hand, shaking George's as he patted him on the arm. "Thank you, George. I really appreciate it, man."
"My pleasure, Eli." He smirked. "I'll send those clowns on a wild goose chase any day. Just say the word." He tipped his head back and laughed as he slapped Eli on the back.
He was still laughing as he walked away, waving his arm in the air. Eli shook his head, George's infectious laughter causing his own laugh to erupt as he climbed in the back seat.
As soon as he sat down, he leaned forward, resting his arms on the back of the front seat. He touched Lyn on the shoulder.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
