Chapter 2: First Fight A New Lesson

What happened so far...
Reyes met a goddess and was send to a different world, there he became part of the  adventurers guild and insulted a wannabe goddess, at least if one were to ask him. Now he has slept I a night in an inn and he is ready for his first quest, will he prevail or fail at the beginning of his story?

3rd person pov

Reyes begins his day with a breakfast and a little workout to get in the mood for a quest. As he makes his way to the guild he come by a construction site where a certain blue haired goddess is doing nothing more but putting paint on a not even finished wall while her companion is carrying beamed wood that I clearly to heavy for him.

But Reyes is walking on to the guild where he is greeted by Luna.

Luna:" Good morning Reyes."

Reyes:" Good morning Luna. I would like to ask you a few things if that is alright."

Luna:" Of course, it is my job to help the  adventurers of the guild, so what do you want to know?"

Reyes:" I would like to know if there is a limit to how many quests I can do per day. I assume that I can accept only one at a time."

Luna:" There you are right, you can only have one quest at a time but there is no limit to how many quests you can do per day. Anything else you would like to know?"

Reyes:' Hse really enjoys her job.'

Reyes:" As I am a beginner I bet I can't take on quests with high payments so how do I get the most money out of them?"

Luna:" Hmm that is a good question but I think you should ask the other adventurers that. I'm sorry I can't help you with it."

Reyes:" Don't worry about it, it was nice talking to you."

And so he talks with different people in the guild hall and gets to the point where he sees some sort of pattern.

Reyes:' Most of the more experienced adventurers told me that the easiest way to gain money for a begginer is to  make the quest and then sell the body parts that have a high value. Doesn't sound so hard but first I have to learn how to fight these creatures that are roaming the lands as it will be different then fighting humans without special abilities.'

He makes his way outside the town and searches for a spot to train. It doesn't take long and he finds a spot a clearing in the nearby woods where he puts his black cube and it grows and opens as soon as it touches the ground.

Reyes:' Hmm, which weapon to start with? Let's go with a classic, I want the sword Yamato.'

And out of the darkness of the cube a handle emerges Reyes pulls and holds Yamato in his hand as he sees a note one the inside of the lid.

"The weapons and armors of the cube are made specifically for you but still retain their original powers, if they have some. While the armors can change so that you can wear them comfortably the weapons can only be carried by you and you can carry even the largest and heaviest weapons you desire but to use skills you have to learn them beforehand."

Reyes:' And again a big thank you, Eris.'

For the next two to three days Reyes continues to train with different weapons. He also met new people in the guild like Megumin an archwizard that was rejected by all parties she came across, sadly Reyes could not help her as he doesn't have a party and still needs to pay his rent in the inn.
