What happened so far... After nearly dying of blood loss on a quest Reyes is back in Axel thanks to Chris and Lydia, the priestess who joined their partie but they have no time to celebrate as a great danger approaches the city. _______________________________________
3rd person pov
Reyes:" Let me get that straight: A giant fortresses, that is shaped like a spider, has a not penetrable magical barrier and enough firepower to wipe out this whole city is heading straight for us and the best you can come up with is running away?"
Random adventurer:" But what are we supposed to do then if we aren't going to run away?"
Reyes:" We have two arch-priestess here and one arch-wizard that casts the most devastating magic ever and you have no idea what to do?"
In a corner of the guild Aqua is sitting mumbling to herself.
Aqua:" Maybe I could break the barrier with Sacred Dispell but even then only Megumin might not be enough to finish off the Destroyer."
Kazuma:" Hey! Aqua said she can dispel the destroyers barrier!"
Reyes:" Good then we only have to find someone more willing to blow up a giant walking machine of destruction because Megumin there is to scared of it."
He points at said girl in another corner of the guild hall and her pride immediately kicks in.
Megumin:" What!? Did you just call me a coward!? I'll show you the biggest explosion ever!!"
While Reyes is making a plan in the guild HALL, his group is helping civilians to get out of the city, just in case a certain useless goddess does manage to do her part.
Yunyun:" Do you think that Reyes will be alright?"
Chris:" He is a skilled fighter and even if he doesn't notice it or doesn't want it he is a good leader."
Lydia:" I too believe that we don't have to worry about him at the moment and as we have our own part to do we should focus on it."
Back in the guild hall everyone talking with each other.
Luna:" You seem stressed but don't worry you plan will work."
Reyes:" Maybe but there are so many variables that can turn this whole plan useless: What if I can't slow down the Destroyer? What if Aqua can't dispel its barrier? What if Megumin alone isn't enough to deal the final blow?"
Before Luna can reply the doors of the guild hall open and a buxom beauty with long brown hair and eyes walks in.
