Josh kicked his locker.
J- I'll still be able to see you, right?
C- Saturday's. But I can still text you.
J- it's not the same. When I see you, I can see your facial expression, how you sound, texting just isn't the same.
C- come by tomorrow. The address is on the paper.
J- can you come to the game tomorrow?
C- I have to be back by 10 unless I bring someone else that has been there for over a year. Then I can be out until 11: 30.
J- who's been there for over a year?
C- bitch, two year old, and Leo.
J- Leo?
C- yea. He's seventeen, ex- soccer player, and-
J- ex- player? What happened?
C- he lost a leg. (Whoa red band society much?)
I fast walked down the hall. Josh caught up to me.
J- he lost a leg?
C- can we please not talk about this? It makes me really uncomfortable.
J- it makes you uncomfortable? How do you think he feels?
C- my uncle was the drunk driver that killed his parents and took off his leg.
J- oh...
C- yea. Just come by tomorrow. You can meet him. He is really sweet but has a temper. And he's sensitive about his leg so don't say anything unless he does. Get to class.
J- you too.
