Saturday...
The doorbell rang. I looked up from ignoring my roommate. Carol, the foster mom, yelled my name. I ran down the stairs to see Josh I'm the living room. I through my arms around his neck while he lifted me a little bit. He chuckled a little bit and said-
J- miss me? It's only been since two thirty yesterday.
C- I'm not going to see you until next Saturday so don't be mean to me.
Carol- hey, chloe?
C- uh, y-yea?
Carol- Leo is looking for you.
C- alright, thank you.
Carol walked away.
J- why are you so quiet Chlo?
C- I don't know her. What am I supposed to do?
He let out a deep sigh.
C- ok, way to make me feel bad.
J- stop. I don't want to be mean.
C- come on. I'll take you to meet Leo.
I took his hand and pulled him behind me. I knocked on Leo's door before going in. He was the only teenage boy in the house, so he had his own room.
C- hey Leo.
L- chloe.
C- this is-
L- Josh. Senior, quarter back, and sssuuuupppperrrr cute.
C- Leo!
J- oh, so I'm cute?
L- 'sssuuuuppppeerrrr' cute.
C- the last thing I wanted was for you two to be friends.
Josh slung his arm around my shoulder.
J- Chlo, relax yourself. We're just joking around.
L- you've known her your entire life, you should know she doesn't joke around.
I really didn't appreciate that they were making fun of me.
C- Josh, I want to show you my room.
J- ok, let's go.
L- wait, chloe. Before you go, are you ok today?
C- fine Leo. Thank you.
As me and josh made our way upstairs,he questioned me about what Leo said. I told him that it was nothing. When we got to my room, his mouth gaped open when he saw my roommate.
J- Nitchman? Chlo, I get what you were saying about bitch.
N(Julia Nitchman)- Hyland. Thought I would never have to see you again.
She shot him a harsh glare. He rolled his eyes in return.
C- so you know each other?
J- Nitch the Bitch. I've only hated her my entire life.
N- yea, well your no walk in the park either. But at least you can get her to talk. You've accomplished one thing in life.
J- I'm so glad that you don't like her Chlo. That way she doesn't have to come to my game tonight. And she won't get to see all of her ex boyfriends or ex friends that have all forgotten about her.
N- they have not forgotten about me! They all followed me back.
J- are they stopping by today? Cause I see them most Saturday's not here.
I left Josh and the girl, who seemed to be named Julia, and went downstairs. Carol gave me a confused look
Ca- where'd your friend go?
C- he knows Julia and they apparently hate each other deeply.
Ca- that's always fun.
C- absolutely.
The two year old, mackenzie, came over to me.
M- is you ok?
C- yea, I guess.
M- ok.
She toddled away.
C- so Carol?
Ca- what's up?
C- you're going to homeschool me so, I think you should know that I'm not exactly normal education wise. I take mostly senior classes.
Ca- I see. Pack up.
C- what?
Ca- pack up. No public school and I'm not teaching senior classes when I have two other juniors to teach.
C- thanks. I needed more rejection.
I went upstairs where Josh and Julia were still arguing.
C- would you shut up! Josh help me pack.
J- what? Why?
C- it doesn't matter. Just help me pack up and take me somewhere else.
