Summary: You're on a date with Roger to the cinemas when he decides to see a horror film

Your POV

I was officially on a date with Roger. We have only been together for 2 months and I was as happy as I have ever been to. 

We were currently walking towards the cinema. My arm was hooked around Roger while his hands were in his front pockets.

I was surprised that no one recognised him especially with the success of queen these last few years. But I felt good to not be bombarded by fans. 

"Have you thought about what movie you wanna see?" Roger asked me as we entered through the doors off the cinema. 

"No, I haven't. But what I have thought about is getting my hands on some fresh popcorn" He let out an adorable laugh before pecking my lips. 

"And I promise you y/n, I will buy you some" I got on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek as we approached the place where you buy tickets and snacks "Hi can I have two tickets for Halloween please?" 

My eyes widened and I look up at him in pure shock "You are joking right?" 

"Can I Have a large popcorn and a Large coca-cola with two straws- Yes we are going to see a horror movie but don't worry if you get scared you can snuggle close to me" Roger paid the man who was serving us and then collected our tickets and snacks. 

"Roger I won't be able to sleep for the next couple of weeks you do know that?" I scoffed snatching the bucket of popcorn out of his hand and nervously ate a handful of popcorn. 

"Then I'll hold you till you fall asleep- Listen y/n," He said stopping in our tracks and facing me "Do you trust me?" 

"Of course I do - But you know that I specifically didn't want to see-" He that cheesy thing where he shuts me up with a kiss "Fine, let's go watch it but If I get scared I'm going to sit on the floor holding your leg crying for my life"

"Deal. Now come on the movies going to start soon" He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the doors leading to the big screen playing ads.  

We take our seats and I already cuddled up close to him as we both already started snacking on the popcorn. When the lights turned down I felt my heart rate begin to quicken "calm down baby. It's going to be fine" He kissed the top of my forehead and rubbed my upper arm.

we're about halfway through the movie and I was actually doing quite fine. I was finding a bit quite humorous but Roger, on the other hand, is what I expected myself to be. 

He kept getting scared at every jumpscare and cause he was hugging onto the bucket of popcorn every time he jumped popcorn would fly everywhere making me laugh. 

"Do you snuggle close to me Roger?" I giggled while whispering in his ear. he shot me a gaze while furrowing his eyebrows at me. 

I quietly got out of my seat and went into his seat. I managed to squeeze myself next to him and as soon as I did he held onto my waist "We should have seen that romantic movie," He whispered. 

I cupped his face and pressed my lips onto his "This would distract you for a while" All I could think was thank god we got seats right at the back in the corner.
