Jung Hyun made his way into the bar, knocking at Tori's office before walking in. "So, what is it that you wanted to tell me that couldn't wait till later." He said, propping himself down on the couch in the middle of her office, planting his feet on the coffee table in front of him.

"How many times have I told you not to rest your feet on the coffee table!" she glared at him. Her cold deathly stare made him quickly set his feet to the ground. She cleared her throat," Back to the reason I called you here in the first place. I want you to be Ye-Ji's bodyguard." His head whipped towards her almost inhumanly fast.

"Wait, say what? You want me. Me? To be her bodyguard ?!" He grinned but it soon faded as he remembered the bruise on her cheek. "Something happened didn't it? Who hurt her?" he clenched his teeth, his words laced with murderous intent. She seemed slightly taken aback by his outburst. But remained calm.

"She asked me not to say. But it was taken care of by the police but one of them got away. They're still searching for him. It would be best if you could watch after her for the time being." He wanted to ask her, what had happened, but he's known Tori for six years. She knows how to keep a promise and keep her mouth shut. He ruffled his hair in frustration and left her office.

He sped towards the hospital. His mind clouded with thoughts. He doesn't understand why he's feeling this way towards someone he just met. He's never been the type to like someone. Never trusting anyone or letting anyone into his hard wall that he's surrounded himself in for the past 18 years.

He quickly parks his car and runs towards the hospital doors. His eyes scanning the waiting room and landing on the face of the secretary from earlier. "Has Ye-Ji left to see the doctor yet?" she opens her mouth to speak but is cut off," Jung Hyun? You're back already?" her was voice soft and trembled slightly. He turned toward the direction of her voice and pulls her into a warm embrace. "What- "she starts to say.

"Are you okay?" He murmurs, his head resting on top of hers. She nods. He unwillingly pulls away, "What did the doctor say?"

"He said I was in shock. Its normal for patients that experienced bad events. I will be fine, he recommended therapy, but I declined." She was barely able to mutter that out, still processing his public display of affection from earlier. He relaxed slightly, "Are you sure you don't want to take some therapy, its good to talk things out. But I mean if youre not comfortable with sharing that with strangers, I'll always be here to lend an ear." She nodded and yawned felt her eyes get heavy.

"Alright lets get you home." He grabbed her by her sleeve and pulled her towards the parking lot. Her legs wobbled as walked. Her stomach growled in protest. Ah, when was the last time I've eaten? Wait did I even have breakfast yet? She wondered to herself, things have been so hectic she had forgotten to eat. Jung Hyun looked at her, "Did you not eat yet?"

"Um- I may have forgotten to eat this morning", she smiled sheepishly. He sighed, and opened the door for her, putting his hand under her head to protect her from hitting the roof of the car.

" You dummy," he said while getting inside the car. "What do you want to eat?"

"Ah no it's okay, I'll eat something at home. You don't need to trouble yourself" she said. She felt herself drift off slowly as she sat on the passenger seat.

" No it's fine, I dont mi-" he turned to look at her but found peacefully resting, her eyes closed shut with her hands wrapped together sitting on her lap. Her breath slowed, as her head slowly began to drop toward her right. He took off his hoodie and placed it by her head. Forming a pillow against the window of his car. He carefully drove to the nearest Korean restaurant in town, not wanting to wake her up. He had called a few minutes earlier to order beef soup with vegetables and quickly paid and got back into this car.

"Wait, I dont even know where she lives" he frowned. He didn't want to have to wake her up, but he couldnt exactly take her to his place either. But where else could he go? He poked her lightly, but she wouldnt budge. "Ye-Ji Ye-Ji? Wake up I dont know where you live" she groaned quietly. But didn't answer.

"Shit" he muttered under his breath.
