|| CHAPTER - 19 ||

the ride to the hotel was extremely silent....the only conversing people were Maddy and the manager...fab4 were keeping quite due to the overbearing pressure coming from Manik which clearly stated ' come closer only if you have a death wish '

the car screeched to a halt in front of the Hyatt hotel where they were going to stay till the deal was finalized......if all goes well and the deal is finalized they will be given accommodation near to the music company for easy transport...

Manik had booked a room for his stay...manik followed by the manager and maddy were entering the hotel when suddenly they heard a loud scream....they looked behind to see aliya on the ground whimpering in pain....and in front of her was a hooded figure looking at her with a hint of shock which was replaced by disgust.......

then the figure took two steps back as if being in their mere presence was making her nauseating........she looked around as if searching for someone........

who...? Manik wanted to know...

Manik saw the figure glance at him making his breath struck in this throat....divine that was the only way to describe the girl in front of him....even though the girl was fully clothed in black and her face was covered only revealing a pair of grey eyes which managed to captivate manik's gaze.......

manik saw her eyes filled with a certain emotion before they became emotionless and cold.....he saw the girl giving a nod to the manager by his side who was giving her a 90-degree bow......the girl gave one last glance to him before she took off.....

after the girl left he could feel the tension in the air dissipate and all the staff sighing in relief...mukthi helped aliya get up who was whining and swearing all kinds of names to the grey-eyed girl....he shook his head in disbelief some people never change.......

he looked at the manager who snapped back from his daze and walked towards aliya....

" dont you dare.....do you even know who is that person who just left........" the manager screamed......

aliya scoffed at him with an i-dont-care-look

" that woman who you wanted to teach a lesson was N.M.......the Mafia Queen....she monopolizes the entire underworld.....just a snap of her finger and you would be six feet under the ground....she is known as the Ruthless queen who doesn't show mercy....so don't even try to come in her bad side.....this time I warned you......next time you would be on your own......" the manager said sternly.......

fab5 were looking dumbfounded at him......even Manik was shocked.......N.M who doesn't know that name......she was very much infamous all over the world.....she was known for her sick ways of torture.....she was known as a cold-blooded demoness of the underworld....in short death in disguise.....

aliya's face lost it's colour......the arrogance from before quickly vanished and in its place was sheer fear....she looked like she was about to piss her pants.....mukthi and the other's looked at her with sympathy....they knew no one escapes N.M clutches.....they could only pray that N.M doesn't remember this incident.......

manik had a smug look on his face....idiots....he thought that he needs to plan for their downfall....but these people dug their own grave.....hehe....now he just needs to enjoy their misery from far.....looks like god is making them pay for their sins......

as he laid on his head he couldn't help but think about the grey-eyed beauty he saw earlier.....the girl looked unfamiliar but at the same time, he felt like he knew her long before.......

when she looked at him he could clearly see LOVE in her eyes before her eyes turned expressionless.....love....how....? to say he was confused would be an understatement.....why would a stranger.....well she was a stranger because her identity was not an ordinary one that he could forget......so why would a stranger look at him with such emotions.......

a certain emotion was tugging his heart making him uneasy......this.....it has been long he felt these feelings.......but now thinking that those emotions were felt for someone else made him uncomfortable...

no matter in the past or present.....all his feelings are for only one person.....Nandini murthy.....no one else but she can make his feel this way......no he won't allow someone else to make him feel this way...

N.M or not....he doesn't care......all he wants is Nandini...

with these thoughts, he drifted to sleep........

a car was parked outside the hotel.....the atmosphere in the car was dropping a few degrees each passing minute......all the subordinates standing outside to guard looked at the car and couldn't help but tremble.....why does it feel that instead of calming down after disposing of the enemy their boss now looked angrier than ever.....

inside the car the atmosphere was no different....N.M was resting her head lost in thoughts.......the car door opened and Akash Murthy settled beside nandini.......he calmly waited for nandini to speak up.......he knew she needed someone right now.....all those pent up emotions....he waited for her to release them...

" he is here " he heard a slightly broken whisper beside him......

he dint say anything and gently took her in his embrace........

" he is here mamu......manik is here......" N.M spoke......

" how do you feel princess....." he calmly uttered......

" i....i dont know mamu......i honestly dont know.....on one side i want to feel happy that i saw him after all these years but then i want to feel miserable as he is still with his friends.....i thought he would break his ties off with them after learning their truth mamu...but he...."

" princess calm down...some times whatever you see might not be the whole truth....you remember what you promised me....." he gently asked her......

" i know mamu.......i told you that if a time comes when i meet manik then i will give him a chance........a chance to prove himself.....but right now i don't think i am ready for that yet...i loved him dearly mamu but look where it brought me.....i dont think i am ready to face it for a second time......" nandini spoke determined.....

" i know princess that you are not ready yet.....but i want you to give him a chance when the time is right....let him explain himself.....do not make the same mistake he did....as much as i hate to say this for all the pain he put you through but you both need each other.....donot let your past stop you from having a blissful future....instead of accusing each other due to your past i want you to make your present beautiful......" akash spoke.....

nandini nodded her head but chuckled when she heard her mamu's next sentence......" but don't let my words stop you from having a little revenge.....after all that brat dared to hurt you...let him assure you that he would never leave you.....let him show you his love and don't forget to make some trouble for him along the way...."
