She sighs as she turns off her laptop , Kiwi was currently having an writers block so she was struggled to finish chapter 32 of " Mr. Redrum ". It was due on Friday so the writers block came at a bad time. Kiwi puts the laptop in her backpack and checks her phone to see seven missed calls from her mother. Shaking her head , Kiwi turns ignores the calls and puts her headphones in then started to play an pretty chill song ( The Song Above ). She paid for her coffee and winked at the cute barista at the counter. Kiwi left the café and started walking downtown towards the Library which usually have some pretty freaky tales and lore. She looks around the crowd and thinks that even in three years , the people of the small town of Carsden still wears black in the cold like it was an funeral everyday. Kiwi stood out in her blush colored overcoat and white chiffon shirt with an black bow tied at the collar and tight light Demin jeans paired with light brown ankle boots. She had the ends of her hair dyed an very light pink , so her hair was done in a halfway updo. She wore small diamond piercings and she felt like she was the only person who knows that other colors then black and brown existed. Suddenly an breeze came and blew an sheet of paper in her face. She makes an annoyed face and grabbed the paper and examined it , it was a missing flyer for that girl Maggie Rose. Kiwi stared at the little girl picture and wondered " Would've been me? ". Kiwi shook her head and dropped the flyer , her disappearance was probably caused by some kidnapping or a runaway gone wrong. It has nothing to do with.....them , they're long gone now. Kiwi was deep in her thoughts thinking whether to make Mister Redrum his brother or the protagonists professor in her book when she suddenly bumped into someone. " Oof " She hits an faceful full of lace and felt several things dropping on the ground. An pretty young woman turns to her and starts talking and Kiwi just stared wondering why she couldn't hear her. " Oh no...have I gone deaf? " She thinks and began panicking internally " But I could still hear Yoongi's voice...OHHH ". Kiwi pulls out her earbuds realizing that she was blasting her music again. " I'm sorry , what? " She apologized sheepishly and soon recognized the pretty young woman , it was that one lady...Latherna. " These books are so fragile and old , yet you still cause me to drop them " Latherna says exasperated and Kiwi looks down to see a couple old leathery books on the ground...and she was standing on one. "Oops...." Kiwi bent down and picked up all of the books and handed it to the woman " Sorry , wasn't paying attention ". The woman squinted at her " I haven't seen you around here before... " Kiwi remembers that she changed a lot while being gone " Oh , its Kiwi..... ". Latherna blinked at her and Kiwi sighs " Nikki , its Nikki remember? ". " Ohhh....you've moved back to town Nikki? " Latherna asks and Kiwi nodded " Uh..yeah , I really prefer if you could call me Kiwi from now on ".  " Kiwi..... " Latherna looked down and Kiwi rolls her eyes , of course as soon as people sees her they're going to bring up Penny's death. Kiwi glanced at her phone " Oh no , my girlfriend has been calling me for a while " Kiwi looked up at the shocked Latherna then gave her a tight lipped smile. " Girlfriend...oh " Latherna commented and Kiwi cocked her head at her " Yeah I'm bi , got a problem with that? ". " No...I'm just surprised " Latherna says and Kiwi mentally rolled her eyes " Anyways , I have to go..byeeee ". Kiwi quickly sped away and rolled her eyes for the millionth time. Latherna was too depressing and serious for her taste. She's still so hung up about her mother disappearing on her , that's what the gossips of the town thinks. Half of the kids in America don't have their parents and Kiwi was adopted herself , Latherna isn't special. Kiwi felt a bit guilty about lying though....she was bisexual and did have a girlfriend but..broke up with her three months ago. Kiwi walked past the bakery , then walk backwards facing the windows. She was craving some of the chocolate cupcakes and she knew that Daniel loves vanilla cupcakes. Kiwi decided to get some for them and walked into the bakery. She waited in line then ordered the cupcakes and stood around as she wait. " Nikki , it's nice seeing you again " Kiwi turned and see another person that she didn't want to see " Dresden...hi... ". The young man smirked " Still writing childish fantasies I assuming? " Kiwi smirked back at him " Yeah , fantasies like you and Latherna getting together and you finally getting over your drinking problem after doing something meaningful with your life ". Dresden glared at her and cleared his throat " For your information , we are together and I am doing something meaningful , I'm a teacher ". Kiwi laughed in his face and Dresden grabbed his order then left without saying goodbye. Wow , I chased another man away Kiwi thought as she grabbed her order. She left the bakery and decided that she'll just head straight home and prepare the house for Daniel when he finally arrives. Daniel was her roommate in Rhode Island and since she was moving back here , Daniel couldn't afford the apartment but he refused to go back to his parents so Kiwi offered Daniel to move over here with her. To her surprise Daniel accepted so Kiwi is expecting him any day now. She couldn't wait for him to come home , because he has the damn car. Kiwi recognized the guy across the street as she was walking , it was Silas. It was rare seeing him out of his house , Kiwi genuinely liked Silas since they relate so much to each other. Yeah , his parents are actually dead while hers are cult freaks but hey , basically the same thing. Judging by the look on his face , Kiwi felt like it was a bad time to say hi so she'll visit him later. She finally arrives home , the old Victorian house painted in a dark brown coat. Even my house is depressing as hell Kiwi thought as she walks in the house , she called out " DANIEL , YOU'RE HERE YET!?! ". She was met with no response , Kiwi sighs and dropped her keys in the bowl on the stand. Kiwi headed upstairs and walked into her room , already unpacked and covered with pink. Kiwi lays on her bed and suddenly felt sleepy , her eyes felt droopy and blinked heavily. Soon all she saw was darkness and Kiwi fell into a very deep sleep filled with nightmares.

Penny , all she said she was heading over to the party but I didn't want to go because I was recently rejected by someone. I decided to head over there later than usual because I just wanted to drink away my problems and have fun. I arrived at the party and Penny was nowhere to be found. I went deep into the woods looking for her when I heard someone breathing hard , I went into the clearing and saw it. An tall dark figure with antlers and completely made of wood , it was standing over Penny. Penny laid on the floor and...NO....she was...NO , DON'T THINK ABOUTIT...blNOITWILLHURTYOUDON'TTHINKABOUTIT..PENNYPENNYI'MSOSORRY..SOSORRY!!

" WAKE UP!! " Kiwi opened her eyes and reached out for anything , she grabbed someone's arm and began to take deep breaths. " Calm down...its okay..calm down... " The soothing voice tells her and Kiwi began to calm down. She looked up to see that it was Daniel , Daniel gave her a small smile " You kept screaming like you were possessed ". " I was having an nightmare that BTS was disbanding " She tells him and Daniel crosses his arms giving me an look " Sure ". Daniel was an tall handsome guy who had Korean parents and was born in Rhode Island. He has messy black hair and warm hazel eyes , they attended the same university together and been close ever since. Kiwi looks outside and realizes it was dark " When did you got here? ". " An hour ago " Daniel said " I even headed to the store and met an woman named Kira ". Daniel tightened his lips and widened his eyes " I think she wanted to kill me ". Kiwi chuckles " Yeah , the people here are so weird ". " Come on , lets go eat the trash I made for dinner " Daniel and Kiwi got up and Daniel started talking about the Harvest Festival as he left the room. Kiwi looked outside her window again then Daniel called out " You coming!?! ". " Yeah , I'm going " Kiwi answers and headed out of her room , she just thought she saw someone with antlers was standing in the dark but it had disappeared. Little did she know the large price she'd paid when she came back home.
