Chapter 17:

"Brat?" A certain PE teacher growled as he entered Gradients room, Error was angry but couldn't find the child to take his anger out on. His useless son, Gradient, was missing and hasn't come back home yet. With a huff, he left the bloodstained room to ask his wife where their son was. When Gradient comes back, he will regret being born.

                                                                        ===with the deities===

The deities gulped as a large shadow loomed over them, the draconian creature in front of them was as large as a giant mansion with giant wings that were longer than its body. Their eyes had two long cracks going up and down and numbers from one to twelve were scattered down their spine like forever changing tattoos. Their tail was long and at the end and held two floating spikes. Between the horns of the creature, was what seemed to be a flaming orb with a clock in it. The weirdest thing is that the creature was made out of bones.

"W-What is that creature?" Mind stuttered out as she trembled in fear in front of the big creature, the only reason why she came was because she wanted others to believe that merciful was the reason why Gaia was dead, Ancient was the perfect way for the others to believe her. Ancient can see the future and past, she knows the truth. There is no way that Mind's plan could fail... well, unless she dies. She came to find the deity of time! Not die in the hands of a skeletal BEAST!!

"Is this a joke or something! Why does the all mighty deity of time have a door guard!" Mind growled through gritted teeth, she didn't have the time for this! Instantly, the creature glared at Mind with something she has never seen before. Fire burned in the void eyes that stared at Mind, it seemed to have a grudge against the Deity of the Mind even though Mind has never seen this beast even once in her life.

"Ancient!" Luck chirped happily as she bounded towards the draconic creature with her hands outstretched. Despite the size difference of the two deities, Luck managed to wrap her arms around Ancients claw. At first, the deity of time had an amused facial expression on her face before it suddenly went back to an unexpected frown when Mind spoke once again. "THAT is the Deity of time?! That beas-", it was once said that Ancient was one of the scary deities. Apparently they were correct and Ancient only had to look at Mind to shut her up. "Watch you mouth Deity of The Mind" she hissed baring her fangs at Mind.

The other terrified deities (except for Luck and Memory) watched the larger Deity hiss at Mind. By the way that Luck was fidgeting, this wasn't normal. Something had happened that made the terrifying deity hate Memory's sister, even if they have never met before... something in the future.

Mind narrowed her eyes, why was the deity acting this way? She should know that Mind is right! That Fate is the victim! "Wha-" Mind spoke to ask, when the creator gave out a huff of anger. "Come back and see me next time.... don't bring her here again." Ancient growled to the other deity's while glaring at Mind. Ancient knew what she was doing was wrong, blaming Mind for something not yet done ... but... she couldn't help it. Day and night she had been tortured with the fact that she can't stop it, that she can't do anything about it...she watched as the terrified deity's leave... all... except one.

The younger deity had somehow escaped the others view to stay in the pretty cave, to talk and play. Memory's big eyes looked up at Ancient before she giggles and attempted to pet Ancient to Ancients surprise. Ancient hesitated before lowering her head to the young child. "You're scared!" Memory said with some concern layering her voice. "You're... hurt..." she whispered, "why are you scared and hurt Big Draggy?" She asked while tilting her head.

Ancient paused for a moment, she didn't expect the child's powers to be this strong... taking in a deep breath, she replied.

"I'm hurt because you will be hurt..." Ancient mumbled to Memory. "I'm scared because I can't stop it...". Memory looked at Ancient knowing, "I know Draggy! I know that my time is coming! Don't be scared! It's in the script after all!" Ancient flinched, how did Memory know? "How do yo-" she began to ask before the child cut in. "I was never meant to survive for long anyways!" Memory chimed before turning around and running to catch up to her friends and sister leaving the dragon to stare after her.
