The trek back to his shack felt even longer than on the way there. The guilt started to set in. He’d just murdered tree people but then again they started it. Although childish this was actually how Addy the killer’s thoughts worked. It was cold outside that night. He would’ve been shivering if it wasn’t for all of the adrenaline rushing through his body. On the way back he took a different route to avoid the girl’s body lying on the road; the one who’d died by his hand. After sometime navigating his way through the forest, he found his shack. The inside was completely still and not a sound was made. Addy made his way over to the mirror and looked into it expecting to see his reflection but it wasn’t his. He panicked. The person standing there was a woman. She had short orange wavy hair, a red and white dress and a cunning and evil smile. He stumbled backwards against the wall. It shook everything and even caused the little parachute army soldier to fall on his head. He untangled it from his head and threw it aside, not taking any notice of its landing point. She casually said to Addy “Are you better now? Do you want to do it again?” sigh “We can have so much fun.”
“I can’t do it anymore.” He said avoiding eye contact.
“What do you mean?”
“I murdered an innocent! I can’t do it again! That’s what I mean!” The final chain broke around the locked box in his mind. “I killed my own brother!” Tears ran down his cheeks through his fake smile and into his tensed expression. “He was innocent. My favourite person in the whole world and I killed him!... all because of you!” Sobs broke and cracked his voice. He made his resolution. “I can’t handle all of this. Addy the killer needs to be killed.” For the first time since Addy had created his angel, she frowned. “Now I see everyone else was right…” He stood slowly and looked at the helpless person in the mirror; trapped like an animal in a cage. Addy reached into his jumper pocket and grasped the handle. Slowly he revealed the shining object; glinting in the dim moonlight coming in through the windows. “You really are a demon.” He glared at her and pointed the blade straight at his throat. “Wait, don’t do this. I can help you.” She started trying to convince him to stop but it was of no use. She accepted her fate. “We could have had so much fun.” Those were the last words Addy the killer heard. His final sight was of the moon through the window and his final thought was I’m Sorry. Good night all. It’s time for Addy the killer to go to sleep. With that he ran it through his neck and collapsed to the ground.
