I'm walking out with Alicia. Breathing in the fresh air, I smiled. Finally, we were out of that place! If I had stayed any longer, my brain would have exploded. Usually on days like this, people go home. But I stay around with Alicia and have a girls day out. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and going home would be nice but it's pretty far from here and I need to take the train. We walked to the little shopping center just across the streets. There were alot of students hanging around there and lots of food. "It's good to be out again." I say as we walk into the cafe. The sensor near the door rang, signaling a costumer has came in. "I know right. If I were to die somehow, it would be because of this school." Alicia replied. "Yea, even the air seems to want to choke you to death." I added and we both laughed. "What would you like?" The girl behind the counter asks while smiling. "I'll have a small size hot chocolate please." I say. "I'll get small coffee thanks" Alicia says. I don't drink coffee. It's bitter, the smell is too strong and it's just plain gross. No offence to those coffee lovers. I just don't like coffee. But, Alicia here is different. She literally can't live without coffee. She wakes up and the first thing she drinks is coffee. She's doing homework and she's up late, cup of coffee. Thirsty eating her lunch? Coffee. She's so addicted to coffee and I really don't understand why.

We sit down in one the of seats by the window with our hot drinks. I looked outside and saw multiple leaves on the ground. The trees were almost bare. I had to wear like three layers to come out here. It's freezing and it's only october. "Time flies eh." Alicia says. "Not really, it seems like I'm stuck in time" I say annoyingly. "It's only been a month and I wish a bomb somehow fell out of the sky and exploded the school." I say. Alicia chuckled. "It's been a year in this school for me. And I had to live it without friends for goodness sakes!" She says laughing. I just roll my eyes and smiled, sipping my hot chocolate. "I just wish winter break comes soon so I can excape to the netherlands." I joked. "Oh, I saw the portal another day! I'll take you to it." Alicia jokes and rolls her eyes. I chuckled. The sensor rang, signaling someone just came in. I look over Alicia's shoulder to see who came through the door. Guess who I saw. "Hey look, Mr. Cold eyes decided to come." I say nodding my head towards the guy by the cashier, ordering stuff. Alicia turned around just in time to see Louis walking over to one of the other window seats. As he passed by, I smelled hot chocolate. A hot choclate lover eh? I sure wasn't expecting that. "He has enough money to get a muffin." Alicia says pouting. "Oh, you want one? I can get you one." Louis suddenly says lifting his head up from whatever he was looking at. Both our eyes widen at him speaking. "U-uh, thanks for offering but uh uh it's ok" she says blushing. "Alright" He says shrugging then starts fiddling with whatever's in his hand again.

"Girl, ur as red as a tomato." I teased her quietly, making sure Louis doesn't hear this time. Alicia covers her face with her hands. "I didn't know he would hear that!" She says quickly taking a big gulp of coffee. "Ow! Hot Hot!" She says right after and holds her tongue. I laugh at her expression. "Becareful! And I thought I was the clumsy one." I say still laughing. "I wasn't thinking straight kay! Stop it!" She says. I took a sip of my hot chocolate. "Want to go to the new park that opened a few days ago? Almost everyone except us got to go." I say. "Sure, why not." She says and we stand up. I bring my hot chocolate.(Now cold chocolate) and gulp it down, throwing it in the garbage before walking out. Alicia did the same but her coffee was still hot so she ended up with a burning tongue again. "Most people learn from their mistakes, your basically ignoring it like it's totally the right thing to do." I say when we walk out. "Well, my brain isn't working cause SOMEONE woke me up too early this morning." She says hinting at me. I roll my eyes and puff out some air. "Caramel Park" I read the sign out loud. "Who names a park Caramel Park?" I say jokingly. "They probably ran out of ideas so they looked at the nearest thing to them and nameed it that." Alicia says. "Or it's because every edible thing in here is covered in caramel!" I exclamed as we walked *cough* ran into the park.

All the food stands were filled with caramel covered food. I saw a girl and a guy sharing a caramel apple. The cotton candy only had one flavor, which was caramel. And there were even fries dipped in caramel. Ok, that's kinda gross but cool at the same time. "I can't believe we took this long to come here." I say as we skipped along the sidewalk. "I wish I brought more money!" Alicia says running over to the cotton candy stand. I roll my eyes, Alicia will always be Alicia. I followed her over to the cotton candy stand. I watched the guy spin the cone thingy in the machine as the cotton like material stuck on. Soon enough, the cotton candy was done and was put on the cone holder. Alicia was literally drooling over it. I pulled her away before she actually steals it and we get suspended from school. "I really want cotton candy." She says frowning. "We'll come another time and you can get it alright?" I say. "Alright." She replied. It was always funny when Alicia acted like a baby around candy.

We walked out the park to the store. "Lets try to find some Halloween costumes for the Halloween Dance!" Alicia says smiling while trying to drag me into the Halloween store. Yes, Halloween is coming up and there's a dance. Alicia always talks about how much she loves things like these. I just nodded and followed her into the store. There were lots of stuff there including fake swords, scary masks, makeup and costumes etc. I'm planning on dressing up as a vampire this year. Mostly because the contact lenses for vampires are really cool. There's this red-orange one that's like a full moon and it looks AMAZING. I walked to the makeup section and saw some vampire fangs by a company named scarecrow. They look so awesome. I smile and picked it up, looking at the back. I frown at the price. Maybe not to awesome. I thought as I put it back. Me and Alicia walk to the costume section. Alicia wanted to be a soul eating demon or something like that. She said she was going to tie on a long piece of black fabric while wearing a black dress. Then wear those fully black contact lenses. I think hers is well thought and planned out, while I'm just gonna put on a cape, put contact tenses on and splash blood all over myself.

We walk further into the costume section and then I saw a person wearing a black cape like thing. I furrowed my eyebrows. At first, I thought he or she was just a shop employee wearing some costumes but that was way off. I figured they were weird when I saw them attach a weird black thing onto the leg of a table. Suddenly, the black thing started beeping loudly and red was flashing everywhere. I was confused but also scared? I don't know why I was scared. It felt like it was suppose to be some dangerous thing. Then, out of the blue, a hand grabbed my wrist, dragging me away. I turned around to see a hooded person dragging me and Alicia towards the exit. "What are you doing???" I yelled trying to free my wrist from their grasp. They didn't reply. Instead, they dragged us out and ran back in. The wind was strong and had blown down his hood, I caught a glimpse of him. He's a boy, I could tell cause he had short hair and it was like the color of copper, at least that's what I thought I saw but he already disappeared into the store. I looked at Alicia and she had the same confused look on her face. Suddenly, an explosion interrupted and before I knew it, I was grabbing onto Alicia while running away from the store with her behind me. There was only one thought on my mind. That guy. The guy who dragged us out. The guy who basically saved us because we could have exploded in there. But he was still in there. What happened to him? Is he ok? Is he even still alive?
