summary. ✩.･｡ IN WHICH A curious girl by the name of Kennedy delivered rations to the citizens of the Arc. She was expecting to see the familiar face of Aurora Blake, but instead, she was greeted with a six year old Octavia Blake.
plot. ✩.･｡KENNEDY CLARK HAS ALWAYS BEEN a mommy's girl. Ever since the tender age of four, she had been helping her mother in any way she could. Starting with small chores, and slowly progressing to her nurse status.
No matter the circumstances, Kennedy loved to help people. Which is why as a child, she would wonder around the Ark, checking in on people to make sure they were alright, making sure to inform her mom if they weren't. The girl later developed another hobby.
Delivering things to the people in need. There were many perks to living in Alpha station. One of them happened to be a larger amount of rations.
She was the Robbin Hood of her time.
Kennedy has always been a scrawny kid, her mother always bugging her about how underweight she was, which was mostly due to the fact that she would sneak out late at night to deliver the access food, sometimes even going as far as climbing through the vents in order to avoid being seen.
After hearing that Aurora's son was sick, she decided to surprise the family. One night, she snuck in through the vents, only to be met with the curios gaze of a six year old Octavia.
The next day, she confronted Bellamy about it, earning herself an hour long explanation of how he and his mother have hid his sister. He then properly introduced them to one another, the girls instantly becoming close friends.
Bellamy and Aurora were both grateful for everything Kennedy has done for them, but it worried Bellamy. He knew that if Kennedy were to get caught, which she reassured him she wouldn't, his mother wouldn't be the only one to pay the price.
As years flew by, the trio grew closer. They were each other's family. But, being the dumb and caring people Bellamy and Kennedy were, they decided to take Octavia to the dance, and well... you know the rest.
extras. – headcannon for this story: abby named clarke after josephine clark (it's kinda random ik, i just thought it would be cute🥺) – kennedy's mom, josephine, is a doctor which is how she knows abby & clarke (& maybe even wells) – kennedy delivered all kinds of rations, not just food (medicine, clothes, blankets, toys, art supplies, writing utensil, paper, pretty much everything) – her mom was always confused how she was so skinny but "ate" a lot – pretty much everyone on the ark knew & loved kennedy – pretty much all of the less privileged people on the ark knew what kennedy did and always protected her. – she would sometimes "borrow" things (from the privileged) – bellamy calls her robin hood because of that^ – bellamy tells her and octavia greek myths – they all have a super cute relationship – kennedy is super pissed & disappointed in bellamy in the beginning of season 1 cause she knows that he's a giant softy that just wants to protect everyone – she's torn between bellamy and clarke's side because she agrees with clarke more but her closest friends are bellamy and octavia – bellamy convinces kennedy to be a little rebellious – which backfires majorly cause she gets hurt^ – you can decide how she gets hurt – i was thinking that she goes with clarke and her group and when they're at the river, she decides to pull a tarzan and swing on the vines and it snaps causing her to fall and you can decide how severely she gets hurt (or maybe she even lands in the water and nearly drowns) or when they find the mount weather sign, kennedy goes first instead of jasper and gets taken by the grounders and ever since then bellamy's been even more protective of her – i was also thinking that murphy might try to hurt kennedy at some point which makes Bellamy realize that there should be some sort of rules or punishments
