Where am I?

Open your eyes Olivia.

Breathe.

What is this?

I take a minute to completely open my eyes, it hurts, the light hurts. It's all too... white.

I turn my head to the side and look around. There's nothing here.

It's all white.

I try to stand up but I can't. I'm tied to a bed. Again. What is this?

I feel like I'm floating.

I hear the sound of a metal door opening and I panic. Why is there a metal door? What can be so dangerous out there that I need to be protected by a metal door?

They're protecting from you.

A man walks up to me and unties my hands and feet.

"Where am I? What is this?" I talk but he doesn't seem to listen. My throat feels dry and it hurts when I speak.

God, my head hurts.

I can feel so much metal in here. And electricity.

He helps me stand up and grabs my hands behind me. I feel the metal again. They're handcuffing me. Why do I need to be handcuffed? I'm not strong.

Because you're dangerous, Olivia.

I can finally see the room I am in once my eyes adjust to the light. It's like a square, with white walls and floors. A bed and a desk are the only things there. A large window covers one wall, but it seems to be covered.

He pushes me to walk through the door and I see a large grey hallway. It looks never ending.

A door with the words 'Lab. 013' in it, opens for me by another guard.

I've never seen anything more scary than this in my life. A chair in the middle of the room with machines around it. Needles, knifes, medicines, masks, bright lights, it looks like the scariest hospital room ever.

They tie me to the chair and someone finally speaks.

"If you move, you're dead. Wait here."  I decide to not say anything and wait as they say. I really don't want to die. Or maybe I do, I don't know anymore.

After a couple minutes of waiting, someone behind me talks. "Unbelievable, I've waited so long to finally meet you." A doctor with a white laboratory coat walks in, with like ten nurses around him who start moving everything around me. He sits infront of me.

"Where am I? Who are you?" I say almost crying. I want to go back.

"Don't worry, you're safe now. You belong here. I'm doctor Weinster, and I'll be attending your stay here." He laughs. As if something of what he said was funny. "Olivia Storm, 15 years old. Orphan. Beautiful grey eyes. And a very dark secret in her. Telekinesis... and we're still figuring out the telepathy thing."

Telekinesis...? What the hell is that?

"Don't worry, I'll explain everything to you. We are going to have so much fun together." He writes something in his notebook. "So tell me, little girl. Do you use your powers for good, or evil?" He says.

"I don't know what you are talking about." I say looking the other way. And for all I know, these aren't powers, this is a curse.

"Oh, I'm sure you do. Is that why you are so scared to look at me? Because you'll read my mind? Tell me, when was the first time you moved something with your mind? I'm curious to know everything about you." He leaves me speechless. Is it real? Do I really have that? Everything is becoming more real as he speaks.

"I don't really... remember. Two years ago, maybe. I don't know. Yesterday... I pushed my best friend." I'm still to scared to talk or think.

I jump as someone grabs me from behind and starts sticking things to my body. Just now I realize I'm wearing a hospital gown, also white. They stick this things in my arms, legs and head.

"Oh no, not yesterday, you've been asleep for a week. Now, let's find out everything about you. This might hurt, but just take a deep breath, and it'll be over before you know it." He approaches my arm with a needle with yellow liquid.

"What is that? No! Don't touch me!" I try to move but I can't. He sticks the needle in my arm.

It's hot, very hot. It burns. I feel it going through my body. How it travels through every vein.

And in this moment, I confirm it, I rather be dead than be feeling what I'm feeling.

I don't seem to feel my crying. It's like someone else is crying for me. I just feel it burning. Burning me form inside out.

I shout, but I also feel like someone else is shouting for me. I'm too busy feeling it burning.

I see him moving his mouth but I can't hear a word. Everything is just pain, red, fire, burning, my hands shake, the room moves, I feel like I am going to die in any second. Is that what they are doing? Will they kill me? I would rather if they kill me now than continue living trhough this pain.

And then, when it finally stops, I feel my senses come back to me, I feel my soul come back to my body. I'm covered in sweat and I can see again. Hear and move.

"Now that is what I call something amazing." He looks like he just saw the most wonderful thing in his life. He is sick.

I breathe heavily. Someone kill me. Somebody kill me now.

"Oh little girl, I wish you could see what I'm seeing. This is a light in humanity, this is what we have all waited for since we came to this world, and now, it's all in my hands." He stands up, and just like that, he leaves. I try to stay focused on something, the light above, the beeping of the machines, the remaining pain, but once again. Everything turns black and I faint.
