The gang wasn't able to get a bus so they stayed in a hotel. However for two nights Jotaro felt someone was up and watching over him or at least protecting him. It was the second day and Jotaro got ready to leave, he went to the station and saw most of them there already, all except (Y/n). They even had a new girl with them by the name of Nena.
"Where's (Y/n)?" Asked Jotaro looking around.
"She's on her way." Answered Jumara looking down. Jotaro stared at her.
"What's wrong bite sized?"
"Well...I'm worried about (Y/n), that's all." Jotaro looked at her confused.
"Why?" Before she could answer (Y/n) came walking in, well... slouching in. She looked extremely tired with bags under her eyes and her body swaying.
"Huh? What happened to you?" Asked Polnareff.
"Nothing...i'm...fine." Said (Y/n) with pauses in her speech. She sounded exhausted and could barely get the sentence out. She yawned. "Welllll...let'ss go." (Y/n) started walking towards the door of the bus but accidentally walked into the side, she shook her head awake before walking through the door.
"What's going on with (Y/n)?" Asked Kakyoin. Jumara sighed.
"Well, she's been so worried lately and didn't want what happened to Avdol to happen to anyone else so she's been up for two days straight keeping watch."
"So she hasn't been to sleep in two days?" Asked Kakyoin. Jumara shook her head.
"Not at all, and you can tell it's really getting to her." Jotaro went to her ear.
"Did you tell her about Avdol's condition?"
"Not yet, I was going to tell her yesterday but couldn't find the time of day." Jotaro nodded and stood up straight. He started getting on the bus as well. He saw where (Y/n) was sitting and sat across from her, Kakyoin sat next to her. Jumara sat a seat from Jotaro closer to the window. The bus started driving and (Y/n) was struggling to stay awake. She would close her eyes and shoot them back up along with a head jerk. She looked miserable, she clearly needed the sleep.
"(Y/n)" Called Jotaro. (Y/n) struggled but looked up at him, she was less than half awake but he knew that if she kept this worrisome-ness up she would pass out. "You need to sleep."
"What do you mean Jotaro *yawn* I'm fine." (Y/n) didn't sound the least bit convincing. She clearly needed the sleep regardless of anything else. Jotaro tilted his hat up, she was twitching from the lack of sleep, she shivered, her head jerked, she swayed. She was a hot mess. Jotaro grit his teeth. "I'm not gonna say it again (Y/n) you need sleep and you need it now." (Y/n) looked up at him.
"Jotaro I said I'm fine. There is nothing to worry about." Jotaro narrowed his eyes.
"Alright, how many fingers am I holding up?" (Y/n) looked at him closely.
"Two..." Kakyoin looked at Jotaro before looking at (Y/n). She was wrong.
"It was none. That's how I know your tired. I didn't even lift my hand." (Y/n) was shocked. She sighed in defeat. She got up and sat next to Jotaro.
"I'm sorry Jotaro, I just want to make sure to protect everyone." Jotaro nodded.
"You can protect people but if your to tired to fight than who will protect them. You may worry for us but don't forget we can also handle ourselves." Jotaro went to her ear. "Besides, what would your mentor say if he saw you like this." (Y/n)'s eyes widen. She knew good and damn well her mentor hated when she stayed up worrying. Even if he was injured, he would tell her don't worry about it. (Y/n) looked up at Jotaro and their eyes had a conversation. No words needed to be exchanged but they knew what each other was thinking.
