*Jacey's POV*
I woke up to the familiar blue walls that've been engraved in my memories. It wasn't my bedroom, it was Luke's.

What.

At the moment of realization I instantly bolted up. The streetlights peeked through the balcony doors that were connected to Luke's room. It took me a while to process what had happen earlier.

A single tear trickled down my cheeks. Aunt Diana. Just the thought of her brings me heartache, how am I ever going to see her in person?

I'm afraid. In fact I'm terrified. I'm terrified to lose someone I love, again. But if I don't see her while I can, when will I ever be able to? I don't want to regret it for the rest of my life.

That's it. I'm going to see aunt Diana and there's no more hesitation. I lifted the sheets and swiftly got up in one move. I headed towards the door and just as I was about to reach for the handle, the door knob turned and the door creaked open.

The thin ray of light grew thicker and thicker, engulfing every inch of darkness in the room, filling it with warmth and light. "Jace." Luke whispered. "Luke." I mocked. No words were spoken but we both knew dead well that we needed to talk. But not now, right now I need to visit aunt Diana, before it's too late.

"I need to go."
"Go? Go where to?"
"Hospital. I need to go to the hospital."
"Hospital? Why? Are you feeling sick? Where are you hurt?"
"Now, I need to go now." My voice was weak and hoarse. I know if we continued on, I would break down again.

"Please tell me why Jace, you don't know how worried I am."
I didn't have the effort to explain this whole situation to Luke nor how I feel. I simply looked up at Luke.

*Lukes POV*
She didn't answer me, but she was looking at me with lifeless eyes. There's a saying that your eyes are the windows to your soul, yet at this moment of time, I see no soul within Jace, she's lifeless, the spark inside of her is dying.
"I understand. I'll take you there immediately." I spoke.

I led her out to the living room and grabbed my keys. (Thank the lord for luke finally getting his license.) we got in the car and arrived at the hospital 20 minutes later.

It was clear that Jace was hesitant about going inside the hospital. I wonder why. Anyhow I got out of the car first and walked over to help her open to door.

"Let's go Jace."
"....."
"Jace will you tell me what's wrong, please?"
"...."
I slowly knelt down to face her, "Jacey talk to me." I said in a hushed tone.
"....."
"Ja-" i was embraced in a tight hug.
My eyes grew tremendously as jace wept.
She must feel terrible.

My hands slowly made their way around her back. "Don't cry, tell me what's wrong, I'm here for you remember?"
She slowly pulled apart and gazed deeply into my eyes. "A-a-aunt Diana was in a car accident."
My heart instantly dropped. I knew how much aunt Diana meant to Jace, she was like a mom to Jace.
"Jace baby, look at me, everything will be okay, we'll go inside and see her."

She got out of the car and shut the door. I turned around only to be tugged on the hem of my shirt. "Yes?" I said, turning back around. "Thank-you." Jace whispered barely audible and quickly walked ahead. "Wai-" I sighed, and simply smiled. Instead I whispered to myself, "I love you Jace."
