What is this feeling?(Alucard X Zilong)

You know Alu.. I can help carry him for you.." Zilong broke the silence between them. After yesterday's failed mission and no other options except to report back to the oh so mighty Tigreal, they decided to take the not so dangerous route again. With the addition of the small and possibly last surviving Leonin to their team. "Its alright general.. I wouldn't want to burden you anyway." Alucard replied. His face eyes focused on their path, they were also aware of the possibility of an ambush but that's just most likely. The question still remains, why was there nobody to inform them of the massacre. Zilong looked at the small figure sleeping on Alucard's back, they have been walking for an hour or so when the Leonin finally fainted both to exhaustion and the mental scarring. Witnessing something like that isn't easy.

Alucard suddenly stopped as he suddenly turned in a certain direction. Zilong stopped as well to see what caught his partner's attention. "A bow...?" Zilong blinked as he see what appears to be a bow glowing blue which had stuck onto a branch of a tree. "So shes near..." Alucard responded slowly approaching the tree. Zilong blinked 'she?' could it be. "Oww..." A voice could be heard in the distance. "Nana I told you to be careful.." A soft voice followed. A small pink-haired Leonin leaped out of the bush and groaned "But I'm so excited!! I can't wait to get ho-" her talking stopped seeing the two men. Slowly an elf walked out of the bush, her bow and arrows tucked behind her, her white hair tied in a ponytail covering them perfectly. "Miya..." Alucard waved and the elf quickly recognized him. "Alucard?" she replied as she slowly picked the pink-haired leonin up. They slowly walked towards each other and smiled. "Didn't think I'd run into you this soon.." she smiled, her purple eyes sparkled complimenting her sweet smile. Zilong was somehow feeling uncomfortable with the turn of events, but he recognized her as well. The well-known moonlight elf princess who has mastered the art of bow and arrows. She was beautiful and dangerous at the same time. "Oh.. This is Zilong.." Alucard gestured to the other male who was silently observing them. "Hello general, I've heard so much about you.I am Miya" She replied politely. " A pleasure to meet you.." he managed to put on a smile which only earned him a stare.

"I'm Nana!!" The small pink Leonin jumped happily to introduce herself. They kept talking for a while ad yet nothing Zilong couldn't really get into their whole conversation, a feeling of dread washed over him. Surely this was the supposed elf that was rumored to be Alucard's lady. "General can you hold Harith for a while, I need to discuss with Miya about the situation.. seeing we have another Leonin on our side who... wants to go home." Zilong nodded before slowly taking Harith from his back and watching both of them go inside the forest. Nana blinked at the sudden realization of who they were carrying and was thrilled to see his friend and not to mention crush in front of her. "Its Harith! Oh but he's sleeping..." she smiled as she followed Zilong to sit under another tree not too far from the path. "So... you know him?" Zilong started and let Harith rest between his arms. "Oh definitely, all those times picking mushrooms together!" she replied excitedly."I actually like... like him.." she mumbled as a blush crept onto her cheeks. "Ah I see..why don't you tell him afterward." He teased, this made nana chuckled "I will.. I wouldn't want him to be taken by anybody else anyways." Zilong sighed laying his head against the tree, 'taken by someone else huh?' he closed his eyes, the pain on his chest just kept getting worse.

They stayed there for a while until the 3 of them actually fell asleep. When the 2 finally returned, Miya's expression was of pain but she knew she needed to tell Nana of the event that had happen. She woke Nana up before taking her out for a small stroll picking mushrooms. "General..." Alucard slowly approached Zilong who was still sleeping with the small Leonin in his arms. Seeing this he managed to really look at how at peace his partner was. Brown bangs covering his face, his lips slightly parted. Alucard quickly shook his head before taking a deep breath. Why did his eyes wander to that particular part? The Leonin slowly stretched which had awakened Zilong as well. "Wheres Miya?" Zilong rubbed off the sleep on his eyes. "She's gonna explain to nana about the whole thing..hopefully, it goes as planned.. we'll be camping with them for the night so, for now, lets just set up the area we're actually going to stay in." Zilong nodded, for some reason he doesn't know what else to say, he wasn't on board with the idea but it would be selfish for him to act by his own emotions. Right?

Night came and soon all of them were sitting by the campfire with the 2 Leonins just sitting there enjoying the company of each other, Nana took the whole story not so well but unlike Harith, her sadness was pretty much masked with witty remarks and such. "We need more wood for us to last the night..I'll go and find more." Zilong finally said before standing up, before Alucard can say anything he had already disappeared into the darkness. "I'll go help him.. look after these two while we're gone." Miya stood up before heading off into the direction ZIlong had walked to. Zilong was feeling uncomfortable with the atmosphere and for whatever reason, he just wanted to walk away from that. His chest was burning, 'why is this so painful..' he thought to himself, he finally stopped to just stay in a dark area and just try to recollect himself. "You know.. usually, this would be done faster if you actually get the wood." Miya knelt beside him, her bow illuminating the spot. Zilong didn't respond, by the time she found him he was covering his face. She sighed "So... I see that you have been very distant with me general, is there a particular reason?" she softly asked but gained no answer from Zilong. "You don't have to worry... he's all yours." She finally spoke as she took one arrow out and put it on the ground as a source of light. Zilong finally reacted, slowly sliding his hands off his face.

"I thought so..." she sighed. She then continued to explain the oh so complicated relationship between her and Alucard, apparently, her so-called love with him was all for show to keep people from knowing about her real relationship with another elf who was known for his powers in healing. Of course, this would mean he was not allowed to be tied down by any kind of relationship but somehow fell in love with Miya and she felt the same way. This relationship with Alucard was to clear suspicion and Alucard who had agreed to help make it possible for the two elves to meet up secretly and just try their best to make it work. "however..." she continued "I wouldn't say it would be easier for you... considering Alucard has admirers all across the kingdoms. He managed to steal the hearts of many." She smiled, her purple eyes slowly turning to the glowing bow. "I've received numerous threats but it doesn't faze me. But my point is..." she slowly held onto both of Zilong hands. "If you want him.. why waste time? Someone might actually take him first." Her smile turned into a teasing one, Zilong finally chuckled, his chest slightly lighter. "Now cmon.. we need to get more wood right?" Miya slowly stood up, taking the bow off the ground as she saw the expression of the general slowly turned into that of hope. "Yeah.. they'll really ask where we are now." He replied before starting to gather up the wood that they sure didn't need as much anymore.
