What is this feeling?(Alucard X Zilong)

Late-night visits

In the middle of the night, Zilong was awakened by the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer to the side of his bed. He was ready for these types of situations and so he slowly let his hand slide under his bed before grabbing his spear and quickly pointed it to the unknown threat. At least that's what he thought, only to find the thing at the tip of his weapon was Alucard's neck. "Alu...What the hell? I could've killed you." He said as he lowered his weapon, his eyes adjusted to the sight of the dimly lighted room. Instead of replying, Alucard slowly sat on Zilong's bed. "Uh... Is there.. something wrong?" he asked as he slowly sat beside him. Rubbing the sleep of his eyes he looked at the blonde male, it seems there were bags under his eyes. 'Didn't get sleep I guess..' Zilong sighed covering half of his face with his palm before inhaling and without a word slowly laid back down. Alucard had not been sleeping, he was afraid of those nightmares that might come back to him, somehow after that night in the forest, he realized that the nightmares didn't happen again after the second attempt of sleep he had. Zilong was the only person who has lived to see him in that state of anguish over a bad dream. "If you don't mind... I'd like to test something.." he muttered before laying down beside him. "what is it?" Zilong turned to the side so he could see Alucard who was also turned to his side doing the same thing, and boy that was enough to send butterflies in his stomach. Was he always this ... dare he say it, cute?

"I'd like to hug you for..reasons" Zilong blinked a few times, hesitating. His mind wandered to that night where Alucard's chest pressed against his, the warmth, the sense of adrenaline he had. "well.. if it's for reasons...I'll allow it." There was a small pause before Alucard slowly inched closer, wrapping his arms around Zilong, his hug was firm but still as warm as before . "we'll be doing this until morning comes." Zilong quickly looked up at him, his arms slowly placed onto Alucard's chest "Alright..." he replied. "Is there a term for this?" he suddenly asked."I believe its what they call.. cuddle buddies?" Zilong replied again, making himself comfortable. "If this works as expected... I would like to ask you for a favor" but before Zilong can say anything he'd already nestled his head closer, eyes closed ready to take the rest he definitely needed.

Zilong stared at Alucard, the sound of his breathing made him sure that he was at peace. Sighing out his frustrations he twisted around a little more to make himself comfortable. Zilong wasn't sure how to describe the feeling he has, its as if he was on cloud 9. He was happy at the thought of knowing Alucard is depending on him for something. At long last, he chuckled to himself. Seeing his partner finally in deep sleep, he then closed his eyes before slowly drifting off to sleep.

Zilong awoke to the piercing ray of sun that had made its way into the room through the cracks of the curtains. He groaned trying to stretch only to find Alucard was still sleeping beside him, his arms still the same position as it was last night. The sight was pure bliss to Zilong, 'He's so pretty' he chuckled, almost hesitant to wake him up. He slowly puts a hand on Alucard's cheek. "Hey...Alu? We need to get up now. We have patrol duties ya know?" he whispered softly. Alucard let out a soft sigh before pulling his arms away from Zilong slowly and rubbing his eye with one of his hands. "Good morning general." He greeted before opening his eyes to look at him. Yeah, that was probably enough to make Zilong's heart skip a beat. "I'll see you in a bit then." He said nonchalantly, pushing himself off the comforts of the bed. Zilong nodded and sat up as well before taking a glance at the sky behind the glass window only to realize they might have overslept.' This will not look good on the report.." he sighed rubbing the back of his neck.
