Archibald woke up to the sound of his old , neon green alarm clock.
Lazily rolling out of bed , he landed with a thud.
“ You should've been in bed earlier ” Markus finally spoke from his position in the doorway to Archibald's room.
“ I had trouble sleeping ” He mumbled back which earned him a soft chuckle from Markus.
“ You have an exactly an hour to prepare yourself ” Markus gave him a once over and left to finish do some paper work for an upcoming presentation.
Exactly 50 minutes later
Archibald and Markus sat in the sofa in the living room , neither with words to say to each other leaving a lingering awkwardness in the air.
The younger male cleared his throat
“ So.. What do you do for a living ? ”
“ I'm an intern at Gracie West Hospital ” Archibald's face flushed
“ Interesting ” Markus furrowed his eyebrows “ What's your practice ? ”
“ Oncology ”
From Grey's change of tone when he said that Markus got the hint that it was a touchy subject somewhat.
“ Milo will be here soon ”
Grey nodded, a distant look on his child like face.
Markus exhaled heavily.
“ Do you wanna t- ” He didn't get chance to finish his sentence when the buzzer from the door bell sounded throughout the house.
Without a word Markus pushed himself up off the sofa and went to answer the door.
He opened the door to see a beautiful Caucasian woman who looked to be in her late twenties with a soft smile on her well rounded face and hiding behind her fit figure was a little boy.
“ Markus Andrews ? Archibald Whittaker ? ”
Markus nodded his head curtly and invited her in along with the boy.
He showed her where to sit and the boy followed.
“ Good morning gentlemen ” She smiled politely “ I'm Diana Valentine Milo's social worker ”
Archibald rolled his eyes at her not so discreet lustful stares towards Markus. He was beautiful , Grey knew that.
“ And gents , Meet your adoptive son , Milo Santos ”
