Chapter 4. The call that changes everything

I wake up to my phone ringing I check to see who it was calling but it just says unknown and of course, I answer anyway.

"Yes," I say hoping the person on the other line will tell me who they are but I get greeted differently.

"Hey princess," Asher says in a conceiving voice.

Without any time in between, I immediately answer back "Asher how did you get my number" with a kinda worried tone in my voice.

"Oh that, my brother gave it to me and I'm allowed to call anyone I want while I'm here."

"Why would you need to have my number"

"Are you trying to ruin my day"
I say in hope that he will leave me alone."

"Oh come on princess you can't be that mad that I have your number"

"If anything you should be happy that I have it"

"Well I'm not and you still haven't answered my question" Now getting slightly angry.

"And what might that be exactly."

"Well first why did you call me"

"Second why do you need my number."

"And lastly tell your brother that he's dead for telling you my number."

"Ok well I called to see what you were doing while I was gone and I just wanted to talk as for the last demand I will tell him"

"You know none of those are all that great of answers plus it doesn't sound like you to be worried about me or be concerned about what I'm doing"

"Well while some of that is true I only left a couple of days ago but you can think of it as whatever you want."

"Ok but if we're not actually going to talk then I'm hanging up but if you are then make it fast."

"Ok ok I get it I'll make it fast I guess."

"Good now hurry"

"Well first off how are you doing princess"

"I'm doing just fine since you left"

"Ouch! Princess that hurt"

" well you've been like that ever since birth plus you practically bullied me my whole life so I'm not much for forgiveness" I say in a snarky tone now almost about to go off the rails.

"Well look at that the little princess fights back with more attitude"

Ugh!! why does he have to do this he makes a snarky comment and yet I'm barely hanging on by a thread just to get some kind of other insult out which to no avail doesn't work on Asher and I could barely say what I said without thinking that he might drive back just to slap me at this point I wouldn't blame him I act like child.

Sorry I cut this short I didn't know what else to do after that but I'm thinking that later on in the future I should make Asher come back for a little "visit."
