Your friend had invited you to the movies tonight with a few other people from school. Obviously you had to ask for permission first; but as you had guessed, it was a yes from your parents considering it was a Friday night. You got ready and your mom dropped you off at the mall where you had planned to meet up with your friend.
Text Convo:
you: hey dude where are you? im here
(y/f/n): im like 3 minutes away, almost there. meet me inside by the theatre
you: okay see you soon
You made your way inside the mall and straight to the movie theatre. When you arrived you noticed a familiar face. Your crush. He waved at you and motioned you over to him.
"Hey what's up?" you asked as you approached him.
"(y/f/n) invited me but it looks like no one else is here yet."
"oh that's good. do you know what movie we're watching?" you asked because (y/f/n) would not tell you.
"um (y/f/n) mentioned Anabelle but i don't know how wwe're gonna get in" he answered.
You froze and felt all the color drain from your face. You absolutely despised scary movies and (y/f/n) knew that.
"Is everything alright?" he asked worriedly.
"Um I actually can't watch scary movies because I tend to get like panic attacks or something" You answered just blabbing.
"oh don't worry I'll be there to hold you" he answered while slightly shoving you playfully.
you saw (y/f/n) walking towards you and with her were a couple people you had seen at school but never talked to. As she approached, you grasped her arm and dragged her away from the group.
"What the HELL are you thinking?" you ask.
"Yeah, forgot to mention the movie haha"
"Youre lucky c/n is here or else i'd be walking away right now"
You all headed into the theatre & chose your seats. Of course c/n sat next to you so he could "keep you safe". The movie wasn't as bad as you had thought, until this jumpscare part where you screamed and c/n quickly hugged you closer to him as you hid your face in his hoodie.
The movie was finally over & you all made your way out. It took you a while to realize you were still grasping onto c/n's arm. He didn't say anything so you stayed that way. It was actually the perfect night.
