Ashton's leg wouldn't stop bouncing.

Ever since he read T's letter he's been watching each minute creep by. 

There were three minutes left of sixth period and Ashton was completely unaware of anything Mr Cole was rambling on about. All his mind focused on was the note clutched in his hand that held such important words. 

'meet me in the library after school today. the non-fiction section.'

T's words swirled throughout his brain and caused knots to form in his stomach.

He would finally get to meet this amazing girl that he's been passing notes to through a crack in a desk. The girl who made him laugh in the middle of class. The girl that made him fall in love with her through her cute handwriting, not even the slightest bit aware of what she was doing to him.

At that moment the bell rang, signaling the end of class. The library was on the other side of campus from Ashton's class, so he sprang from his seat and started to sprint through the halls. 

People called out in annoyance as Ashton pushed passed them. 

"Sorry," he said. "Excuse me."

As he rounded the final corner he slipped on the freshly cleaned floor. He hit the ground with a thump. He groaned and rolled onto his back and lifted himself back to his feet. As he made his way to the double doors of the library, he brushed himself off and fumbled with the hem of his shirt.

Ashton walked straight up to the librarian and asked simply, "Non-fiction?"

The petite blonde woman smiled and pointed in the direction of the non-fiction section. 

"Thank you." Ashton smiled warmly. 

He made his way to the back of the library and looked around for anyone with green eyes that could be T Marie W.

There was no one there, save a small-framed girl sitting by herself at a small table. 

Ashton knew instantly that it had to be her so he made his way over and took a seat quietly in front of her.

She looked up and her eyes got wide. "Ashton Irwin?"

"October Walters?"
