Just letting you know, Bakura and Ryou aren't boy friend and boyfriend...yet. YET I SAY, YET! I decided to update whilst I was in the writing moment...I have no idea why or how I got into that moment, though.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or Yu-Gi-Oh, I merely own the plot. Hells yeah.

It was around one o'clock in the morning by the time I got Bakura home. We were both tired, not just from being awake so late, but the cold was taking its toll on us. I could hardly believe that Bakura was in such a mental state - maybe that helped with making me tired.

I helped Bakura take off his coat, as he did the same with me. His motions were stiff - as if he was a robot that needed oiling. I frowned and wished for him to return to his normal self, but sadly, he refused.

Once our coats were hung up and our boots were off, I demanded he go straight to bed. I didn't expect him to insist that I stay with him, however.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I'm scared of doing something to hurt myself." Bakura admitted.

I didn't like what he said - not one bit. But I gently nodded and went with it. Looks like I was staying in his room tonight.

It seemed that Bakura didn't want to change into pyjamas. He just wore his boxers and a black vest t-shirt, despite the cold. Saying that, it was always pretty warm in our house anyway. I, on the other hand, changed into pyjamas. I didn't understand how one could sleep in just their boxers - it was weird. But it seemed to work for Bakura, so I let him do as he pleased.

I wasn't actually afraid of staying in Bakura's bed with him. He had quite a large bed, but he did tend to move around a lot in his sleep. I decided to stay on the side of the bed that was nearest the wall, just in case he had a fit and tried to throw me off the bed. It had happened before. It was not pleasant.

As I settled on my side, getting ready to sleep, I felt that Bakura was uneasy. I turned on my side that faced him and he did look quite unhappy.

"...'Kura?" I murmured sleepily, "What's wrong?"

"Hm? Nothing."

"You seem restless..." I yawned, rubbing my eyes.

Bakura just smiled at me and pet my head, "Don't worry."

I huffed slightly but smiled back at him, "So weird..."

I didn't really feel like changing sides as I let my eyes fall closed once more. I went to sleep quietly, knowing that Bakura was probably still wide awake.

When I opened my eyes in the morning to see that another body was not beside me, I was scared. I didn't hesitate to get out of bed and almost rush to the living room.

"Bakura?" I called, worry pricking the edges of my voice.

There wasn't a reply, and now I was really scared.

I moved into the living room and scanned the area. To my relief, Bakura was fast asleep on the couch. I knew that there would be no waking him when he was in a deep sleep. I walked over to him and saw his sleeping figure.

He was sprawled over the couch. It made me laugh slightly - he was all over the place. I was just glad that he wasn't drooling.

The door went, and even that didn't wake Bakura. I just sighed and shuffled over to answer it.
